Already an in-game thread, but oh well.

And I'd say it would be tough for Roy to have anyone thrown out of another team's arena, but you never know.

I was in the student section over by Roy tonight. When he came out for the shoot around, a student held up his sign and yelled his name. The sign read "Throw me out, Roy."

Roy read the sign and doubled over in laughter. He then called his entire coaching staff over and motioned for the student to show it again. They all laughed really hard and Roy gave our student a thumbs up.

Just thought it was a classy move, and makes me hate the man a bit less.

Thanks for sharing the story. A lot of people think Roy is some kind of old prick, but that couldn't be further from the truth..

I've never had the chance to meet him, but I have met Dean Smith, his mentor.. If he's anything like Dean Smith, he's a great man..
