My guess is that this movie will revolve around Shia Labeouf's character and that Indiana will only be a minor character. It was very obvious to me that the last movie was really a test to see if the audiance would embrace future movies starring Labeouf instead of Ford.

Yeah, the ending hinted at that. They might be able to pull it off if they do that, but Crystal Skull was pretty weak. I'm not encouraged.

Crystal Skull could have been so good, but George Lucas put an end to that.

I fear he will completely butcher the name with this. How regrettable.

I can see it tanking, 4 made so much $$$ due to the goodwill of the original trilogy. Thanks to Lucas/Spielberg the goodwill has been impaired considerably. It is sort of like how Spiderman 3 did so well (even though it suck-diddly-ucked), and now they have to reboot the franchise due to the craptitude of that film. At any rate we won't watch it opening night, like we did for 4, that was one of the worst movie experiences of my life. I was actually laughing during the film, and not in a good way.

After Crystal Skull, I'm not sure anything in this series will be good again. Perhaps if there aren't aliens or interdimensional beings lurking around it might be better. But I would imagine that the film would be more focused on Shia Lebeauf and not Harrison Ford.
