Anyone use this? Currently using Firefox..heard Chrome was faster. What's the advantages of this browser over Firefox or IE?

Chrome is faster...but also less compatible. And it doesn't have AdBlockPlus, which is an absolute buzzkill for me.

I've been using Chrome almost exclusively for the past month or so. I tried it once a while ago and didn't like it but decided to give it another shot.

Starting to gradually use Chrome more than Firefox. Lots of other folks who are much more savy tech people than I are also doing the same.

I switched to Chrome about 5-6 months ago on my laptop and desktop, I love it. I run Opera on my netbook because it just seems to work the best on it (I've tried IE, Firefox, Chrome, and Opera on the netbook).

Yeah, I dunno if it's actually faster but it feels less clunky. It is somewhat of a memory hog but it gets the job done.

Don't get me wrong, I love the extensibility of Firefox. It's just absurd how much faster Chrome runs on my work machine.

Firefox runs pretty fast on mine. Don't really have a speed issue. Are the downloads any quicker with Chrome? Or does your browser not make a difference when it comes to that?

I would say, download Chrome and try. Kinda tough to quantify, but I think it's faster for downloads. I use it at home and work now after switching from Firefox and love it.

I am gonna download it when I get home..I was just wanting to get some input on it before hand. Just seeing if anybody has had any issues with it before I do.

The biggest issue is site compatibility - some sites won't display properly. Overall though no big problems.

Right, there aren't a ton of issues. Just occasionally you'll run into things that require Firefox or IE (I know ESPN360 used to be like this)

Safari is my browser of choice. I've heard good things about chrome, but I fear change and don't want to make the next step. My work PC has IE 6, I'd relish any change they made there.

I just started trying Chrome this week after reading a TIME magazine article about it. The article says it is faster and safer. I do have to agree it is faster most of the time and as of yet I have not had any unwanted pop-ups or malware. I do like the easy of use and less clutter!

Chrome isn't safer and it's privacy policy is less than impressive.

It's fast but doesn't have the features I need in a browser.

It looks like the newest Chrome has extensions. I'm running it right now on my netbook and its running fairly slow.

Firefox seems to run better. I know for a fact Chrome is quicker on my desktop.

I have both IE and Chrome on my laptop.

I have been using IE lately but Chrome is definitely a good browser.

Is there a reason that you use IE?
