Gino's on Arlington was my fave in Toledo, but they closed. They were rude, but the pizza was so good that I didn't care.

But one of my go to spots in my area... http://www.williamsburgpizza.com/
I will be in NYC in December with a bunch of couples in December. The ladies are headed to Hello Dolly for a Sunday matinee. I'm planning on taking some of the guys to Brooklyn Brewery and hitting a couple bars near there, but they also want to grab a slice of pizza. Would you recommend this spot, or anywhere else in the Williamsburg neighborhood?

Been here a couple times. I mean, it's NOT pizza, but it's good. My sister used to live near this place. Their Mediterranean bread is great.

Chicago pizza is great, NY-style pizza is great.

I️ have heard about this place but haven’t been yet. There’s always really long lines. I’ll try it out eventually because it looks legit.

Williamsburg Pizza and Best Pizza are both South Williamsburg, about 20 minute walk from BK Brewery.

You have a few options closer if you want a typical "NYC slice." Joe's Pizza, Anna Maria Pizza, Vinnie's Pizzeria (probably the best of the 3, I go here a lot)

You also have Paulie Gee's in nearby Greenpoint. It's a wood-fired, sitdown place. It's pretty good, but overhyped...kinda like Roberta's.

Also, if you're looking for another bar nearby with a good beer selection, try The Kent Ale House.

I've been to NY a couple of times and I love the pizza there. Never have gone out of my way to find anything...just stop and grab a slice wherever I happen to be. My favorite was New York Pizza Suprema on 8th near 31st...a block from MSG.

that's because they're morons.

adriatico's pizza is good, but their location wasn't particularly great and there were about 12 seats in the place.

they aren't closing the establishment, they're moving it. osu has owned the property for 25-30 years.

No, pretty much the same management. Joe Calabria health hasn't been too good lately, but he just pretty much ran the cash register. The pizza prep workers seems to change over pretty often. I don't know if that has any bearing on the pizzas or not. I still think it is the best pizza in wayne county. Not much competition.

No where in my town, but Park Street Pizza in Sugarcreek or Pizza Oven in Canton are somewhat close to me.

While we are on the subject, Luigi's in Akron is the most overrated pizza I have ever had.

I feel Luigi's is the most overrated everything I've ever had. It wasn't bad, but the way it's talked up didn't live up to the hype.

Anyone on here from Steubenville? I hear that DiCarlos is supposed to have incredible pizza, but my son-in-law (who's from Wintersville) says it's good but vastly overrated in his opinion...thoughts?
