What a fucking game. I mean...this team.
Gomes was great. Threw out a base stealer and then the pick off. Hat tip to them.

haha, I figured some people did. But some generally were responding. Had to keep it up until we tied it.TBone14;1875737 wrote:I wasn't going to say anything until it was over but how did you not know that I knew what you were doing?

What a game! Wow!
Never give up.
And Gomes........did you catch that today is his wedding anniversary?
side note: while watching this game with my son (making it even more special)......I get annoyed with the network announcers and get out my radio to listen to our guys. Geez......they were like 15 seconds ahead of the tv, making it intolerable to do.
Go Tribe.

Great comeback. That has to be utterly demoralizing to the Yankees, having delivered the knockout punch to the Tribe's ace and having a nice 5 run cushion, only to go home empty handed. Lets' hope Carrasco ends this thing in 3 games.

I hope you took my advice and bought two extra beers in the 7th as insurance policies...nothing worse than sobering up at a baseball game.Verbal Kint;1875747 wrote:Stadium was electric tonight, really loud, hope it translated well for TV.
The Frankie Slam and Bruce bomb sounded like pandemonium on TV.

Wow... I missed all the posting....yesterday I literally spent “a day at the ball park”. We got there early when gates opened at 3 and left after 11pm.
I didn’t see a lot of talk about what might have been the turning point in the game ... Chisenhall’s HBP.
When you’re at the game, you do miss the replays and the analysis .
Today, The national media is ripping Joe Gerardi for multiple mistakes and mismanagement.... One of which was the non-challenge of the hit by pitch of Chisenhall which resulted in the bases-loaded and bringing Lindor to the plate .
The other major faux pas, was lifting C.C. Sabathia in an apparent “pre-scripted” move. Thirdly, not bringing in Chapman to face Bruce in the 8th. In any case Girardi is getting roasted by the NY media.
