To the camera people:

Please refrain from close up head shots of Chapman's sweat globules.
Thank you from my stomach.

Other than that: Seriously...great game. I really enjoy that kind of low scoring stuff.

And the Yankees can really whoop it up after that 1-0 ass kicking.

And let's not make so much of the Judge catch. Any decent outfielder would have made it.

Go Tribe.

8 ft fence....ball looked to be caught about 9'8 in air. Judge plays the deepest RF I've ever seen. Most RF catch that ball.

I'm mean, for him it was routine. He jumped about 8 inches. Someone a foot shorter and the wall actually gets in the way and makes it much tougher.

A foot shorter is 5'7".

I'm saying that an average size major league outfielder also makes that catch.

Had he been playing normal depth and had to race back, find wall and leap I would've been more impressed. Clearly the play of the game but I think every RF in the playoffs makes that play.

Looks like it is indeed Bauer today. He had a quote about that if it were up to him he would always pitch on 3 days rest. He's crazy.

I wouldn't have said this earlier in the year but "thank god." When I heard the announcer say "Tomlin in Game 4", my first thoughts were "welp, that's a surefire way to get Judge untracked."

Didn't go back through this thread but anyone just a "little" concerned about Andrew Miller? I know it was only one HR but he just doesn't seem right.

The dude is a throwback. He has a rubber arm. Could probably pitch every other day.

I wasn't until Calloway made the trip to the mound right after the dinger--maybe he saw something that we didn't? anyway, it was one pitch, so I'm not overly concerned...however, I AM concerned about J-Ram's hitting--ughhh

I'm just concerned because he doesn't seem to have that same dominance he had last year. Seems like hitters are "on" his pitches more recently and are able to at least foul them off. I don't think Tito's going to be able to use him, with the same confidence, like he did last year (assuming they get through this series).

Last year was super human and not the real Andrew Miller. I'm not concerned in the sense he looks healthy. But, yeah, he isn't as great as last postseason.

Like, even his postseason last year was way better than regular season. We simply got spoiled.

It also sucks that Severino got his shitting game out of the way. We can't expect him to pitch like that again. He is also well rested. He didn't even pitch an inning and that was nearly a week ago.

It looks like it tapers off near first pitch, but the field might not be in condition to play.

I can't say that I've been impressed with the approaches at the plate with RISP. Guys going up there hacking and getting themselves out. I've really been disappointed with Ramirez, and to a lesser extent (obviously because of the Grand Slam) with Lindor. Several of their AB's have been absolutely awful.

Thanks, Mr. Roker-lol...seriously, though, it'd have to be pouring and/or lightning not only at game time, but for a good while afterwards for it to be postponed. But, yes, there is always a chance it could be.

I can't even imagine what it would look like for a hitter to see that pitch. Like the announcers said, from home, it looks like it would be easy enough to lay off that pitch but the hitter has to make a split second decision and, by the time they commit, it's too late.
