I ordered the Odyssey cartridge, so luckily it won't take up any space.

People with different time-killing activities than you? Shocking!

I'll add you on Mariokart this week Justin. Haven't played that in a month but would like to get back into it when I have some time.

Pre-Ordered Super Mario Odyssey as well, thanks for the heads up.

I bought Stardew Valley yesterday due to the pre-release chatter and reviews from Steam. It was only $15 so I figured it was worth a shot. I'm enjoying it so far, it's a nice, slow, relaxing game to play while winding down for bed.

Super Mario Odyssey comes out today. Every review I've read has been great, looking forward to playing a lot of it over the cold weekend.

Yep. Picking it up tonight. IGN gave it a 10/10 and made several comparisons to Mario 64, which is my GOAT game.

Yes. Think I'm up to 180 moons. Just started the snow level. I'm not really sure what the coordination is between moons and levels. My brother the other day said he was on the snow level and was at 100 moons. I know there's chances to choose which level you go to next but I don't know how much it really makes a difference. The snow level will be like 6th or 7th.

Have you noticed the huge grey boxes usually towards the beginning of each level? I can't figure out what those are for. It took me a bit to realize that the lady oompa(?) that disappeared when you came around had to be met as another oompa you took control of.

I played for a bit last night and noticed the big gray box (stone?) near the Odyssey on the forest level. You've got a lot more moons than I do at this point, I might have 30.

How are you progressing on Super Mario Odyssey? I beat Bowser last night, but still have a ton of moons to find.

Beat Bowser, dicked around the castle level, and pretty much stopped playing. Think I'm at 300ish moons. My brother was telling me the other night that something awesome happens at 500 moons but he wasn't sure and wouldn't say what.

In the time I spent typing this out I probably could have looked up what he's talking about but I'm tempted to go back and keep playing and be surprised.
