Yeah, not a bad movie, but I'd argue the great actress in that cast is Amy Adams.

Bobcat Goldthwaite.

Saying "this one or that one is a terrible actor" becomes terribly subjective. It's kinda like music - does the person do a good job in the role they were paid to play? Does every role need the actor to display every conceivable emotion and facial expression?

Interesting - I've only seen him in "Volcano" that I know of, and it struck me what a great job he did in that role. I thougth he played it perfectly behind Tommy Lee Jones, another actor frequently accused of having limited range.

Idris Elba is horrible. Ruined a half season of the office.

:RpS_glare: He was great in The Wire....and pretty much everything else I've seen him in. I stopped watching The Office after a couple seasons because the whole show started to suck.

He's a one-trick-pony. He only can play that sappy/funny/stuttering romantic part and it is extremely annoying after about 5-10 minutes.

Is it weird that I think he was a terrible actor as well, but actually enjoyed most of the movies he happened to be in?

I actually think Reeves gets a bad rep. I could see more criticism of his choice of projects than his actual acting. Some of the ones he's chosen to do have been tire fires.

The Matrix/Constantine (he's essentially the same character in both), John Wick, Speed, Knock Knock, Hard Ball, and Bill & Ted at least show a little more range than he typically gets credit for.

Not saying he's a stellar actor, but I don't think he's nearly the joke everyone makes him out to be.

As for an actor who I think is just awful, I can't let this list go by without mentioning Brendan Fraser. Thankfully, I haven't seen him in something in a long time.

As long as we're on the topic, I know he's a director and not an actor, but I really fucking hate anything Wes Anderson touches. I don't see the appeal. When I watch something he's made, I keep waiting for something that never comes.

If we are moving onto directors, M. Night Shamalamadingdong put out 2 good movies at the beginning (Sixth Sense, Signs) and has progressively put out worse and worse dumpster fires since. The Happening maybe the worst movie of all time.
