Is Cleveland St Ignatius at the top of the list? I know recently Marion Local has been running up the State Title in the playoff era list. The teams of this era are far better than any other era. Stronger, faster, and bigger players has changed the game completely. This era far out weighs any other era cause prior to playoffs no one knew what the best team in the state actually was. It was always based off some news reporters OPINIONS. This should never determine a championship in any sport.

If you don't mind me asking how many state titles does your school have in the playoff period? It is pretty much the only way to judge if a team is worth anything if it won a state championship in a playoff.

Marion Local has been a team to recon with for the last twenty years. I think their rain of the lower two divisions will be over now that Coldwater has dropped to their division and region. Will be interesting to watch.

Not much chatter on this thread. Thought for sure Massillon fans would be able to talk about championships.

It will never take place but I don't think "crush" would happen.

I'm not sure how you define crush, but we would have a continuous clock fairly early in the game.

The MAC is just little kids playing football. They often start linemen who aren't even 200 pounds. Our recruit from Cincinnati was almost 400 pounds. The MAC is good at what they do, but we play a whole different level of football.

gosh a ruddies, really. They have some pretty good athletes. Take St. Henry for example. Only been playing football since about 1970 and they have 6 football championships. Couple guys who visit this site too much, like to brag about Massillon having 3 guys on the Buckeye Top 100. gosh St Henry has 2, Jim Lachey and Bobby Hoying and the school is only 1/4th size in enrollment and has been playing interscholastic football 75 fewer years and even without recruiting. St. Henry is a public school. The district borders on Coldwater, Marion and Ft Recovery, all state champions.

That district is very Catholic, and Catholics are better in football. Many think that they should be separate.

MAC kids bale hay, milk cows and work on turkey farms all year round. End of discussion!

So they win a farming contest and get crushed by the premiere program in the country in football.
