Who put out the best string of three consecutive albums? Who had the best three album stretch to start their careers?

Pink Floyd had an incredible 4 album run with DSOTM, Wish You Were Here, Animals, and The Wall.

The Band had the best start, IMO, with Music from Big Pink, The Band, and Stage Fright.

What say you?

Depending on who you ask, Metallica had a 5 album streak with Kill Em' All, Ride the Lightning, Master of Puppets, ...And Justice for All and the Black Album (wasn't a fan). I didn't add Garage Days because it was an EP with a few covers on it.

In terms of success and sales Shania Twain...Woman in Me----then Come on Over---then Up

Huge crossover success that led to other doing so for the next several years. First album hit $12 million in sales and 2nd went $22 million and had 12 top 10 singles---last one was a dud but had a few top 10's and a lot of sales.

Clearly not great music and she led a wave of people that can't sing but sales were gigantic.
