His WAR is impressive, If he's consistently as good as he is into his late 30s, then yes he will get some consideration. A lock, absolutely fucking not.

Dude has 1 MVP and under 1500 career hits and under 800 RBI.

He's put himself into position. If he remains Joey Votto through age 37 he'll be in.

Oh I agree with this. He needs another few years doing what he's doing. But there's no doubt that playing where he did, and a majority of his career on shitty teams, hasn't helped.
