Who is it? What living male would always be the coolest man in the room? Is it someone current? Music? Movie star? Athlete? Someone in the twilight of their life?

Good one. Didn't think of him.

I was going with Bruce Willis, Sylvester Stallone, Clint Eastwood in that realm.

Belly .... We all put our pants on the same way, I have confidence in who I am. I have to believe that I'm just as cool as everyone else. Plus I can carry the look....

LeBron, MJ, Ronaldo, Tiger and Messi are the only athletes I think would have a claim.

Not sure anyone outside of sports fans, and certainly not America even know him.

My wife, sister, mom and grandma know very few sports figures. Messi, MJ, Tiger and LeBron are all on that list. That's about it.

I'd go Steve McQueen or Paul Newman.

But at least with movie stars/singers, the image projected sometimes isn't anything like who they really are. Look at Tom Cruise. Someone else I can't remember the name that would have fit the bill - saw them on one of the late night shows and he came across as a complete nut job.

Well, the crowd in the room doesn't necessarily have to realize who is the coolest.

Harrison Ford was the guy I was thinking of. I've seen him a few times - just a very weird, introverted guy. You would never in a million years think he was Han Solo, or Indiana Jones, etc..

Fair point. I took it as who would be the coolest in ANY room, regardless of company.

A lot of potential factors. Could be a Rickey Henderson effect lol. If Messi and Ichiro and Bruno Mars are all in the same room with each other....but none of them really know who the other two are...

I guess "coolest" can be semantics a bit. Also could've done who draw the most awe of the room.
