I was out mowing and missed it...but without know anything...I can 99.9% guarantee that Lindor did that himself. Tito doesn't even bunt in the 7th when he's down, let alone tied in the 1st.iclfan2;1851753 wrote:Sac bunt in the first inning? Really? I hope Lindor did that himself and Tito didn't call it.

Brantley taken out of the game doesn't bode well. Indians up 1-0 thanks to Santana.

He did in the 5th (with Almonte) successfully--it led to our lone runBenny The Jet;1851756 wrote:I was out mowing and missed it...but without know anything...I can 99.9% guarantee that Lindor did that himself. Tito doesn't even bunt in the 7th when he's down, let alone tied in the 1st.

That shows he's concerned with the lack of offense we've been showing of the last week or so. That's not like him at all.vball10set;1851760 wrote:He did in the 5th (with Almonte) successfully--it led to our lone run

Brantley's injury is supposedly is a sprained ankle, which is much better than anything to do with his shoulder.

So what would it take for Clevinger to get a shot at the #5 starters spot? How many more bad Bauer's? To me, I'd do it as soon as Kluber comes back. But I know Tito's faithful almost to a fault some times.

It's going to be hard to keep clevinger out of the rotation. He's really starting to put it all together and has the potential to be a front of the rotation pitcher. I don't think we will see him sent down againBenny The Jet;1851763 wrote:So what would it take for Clevinger to get a shot at the #5 starters spot? How many more bad Bauer's? Do you think they'd move Bauer to the pen?Crimson streak;1851766 wrote:It's going to be hard to keep clevinger out of the rotation. He's really starting to put it all together and has the potential to be a front of the rotation pitcher. I don't think we will see him sent down again

Either Bauer or Tomlin I think will move to the bullpen. Clevinger is just too talented to not have in the rotationBenny The Jet;1851768 wrote:Do you think they'd move Bauer to the pen?

I'd like to see Bauer in the pen--I think Tomlin's got the better head to be a starter.Crimson streak;1851772 wrote:Either Bauer or Tomlin I think will move to the bullpen. Clevinger is just too talented to not have in the rotation

Had to share this gem:
Listening on the radio. Hammy describes a foul ball in the B9 back up into the box hit by S. Perez.
Rosenhaus catches it in the booth.
Hammy says the fans are turning towards Rosie waving to throw it back.
He doesn't.
Hammy says "and now the fans are waving at Rosie without all their fingers".
And as I type this..........ball game!
Tribe wins a series by only scoring 5 runs.
Combined 1-hit shut out!

Yay for series win!
HOWEVVA! 5 total runs in the series isn't going to win you many series. This team's too good to struggle like this on offense. Get hot.

the bright side as far as our pitching is concerned is that we won the series scoring only 5 runs...who woulda thunk it!Benny The Jet;1851776 wrote:Yay for series win!

Did we expect him to not walk anyone all year??vball10set;1851759 wrote:...and Boone Walker stays true to his name...again
He has 8 Ks versus 2 BBs this year, including today's. Logan is fine, and allows Tribe to keep Miller in the Pen until later innings more often.
