Fox really taking it on the chin to do the right thing. O'Reilly brought in an estimated $200M in advertising revenues a year (that was before everyone started dumping him because of the sex harassment allegations).

Quite the Playboy Mansion they had going on at Fox.


Personally, I think O'Reilly was actually pretty decent, just too much of an obnoxious blowhard to watch.

I always thought O'Reilly was fair. What I didn't like about him was constantly interrupting his guest/s. It is hard to catch the point of view of an opposing opinion if they never finish their thought.

Not sure that I buy all the sexual harassment allegations. With today's progressive SJW feminists, it is very hard for me to instantly believe such claims. The whole "boy who called wolf" syndrome. I wish that it didn't come to this with my personal beliefs, but it's there, regardless.

Bill O'Reilly and fair do not belong in the same sentence. If you liked bill o'reilly it's because you're far right leaning. Which is fine. But fair? Like you said, the guy wouldn't let the opposition fucking finish their thoughts. That's not "fair".

I didn't like his style, but aside from having a conservative point of view, he frequently called out his conservative guests for bullshit. A conservative going on O'Reilly generally had a tougher task than a liberal going on one of many other shows. He didn't serve up softballs.

But he was insufferable to watch. Almost as bad as Hannity, who's a legit idiot. Hopefully Fox replaces him with someone actually worth watching.

I used to like Bill...like back in the mid-2000s. Haven't watched him in a long time. I don't know enough about the accusations to have an opinion on them.

His days were numbered anyway...Carlson was going to get the 8pm slot sooner rather than later.

That said, the level of #carez for an over-the-hill TV talking head is interesting I guess. It'll give the nutmuffins like #isaderp something to fap over for a couple days.
