Nice to get on the board in the first. Lindor single, Brantley double, EE ground out that gets the run in (can't believe he couldn't beat the throw tho).

Yea Tomlin not looking stellar, but should only have given up maybe 1 run. Error on Yandy and Almonte.

In Tito We Trust but why the hell are we taking the bat out of one of our hottest hitters (Lonnie) to setup Diaz who has 1 flipping RBI???

Also...why are we sacrifice bunting up 3 in the 5th?? Lonnie could hit a 3 run homer as a knockout punch.

Edwing makes an appearance. 11-4 final.

If Edwin gets hot, with Kipnis coming back Friday (Yandy probably down), we might see some more scoring outburst like this...which would be nice.

Lindor and Ramirez with MVP starts to the season and Brantley looking like the Brantley of old way before I expected him to.

Solid win all around. Couldn't stay up to watch the end.


Edit to add, saw a star on twitter that Brantley's exit velocity has slowly been increasing since the beginning of the season, which is great news.

EE has been pressing. New team. Big contract. Needs a couple of jacks and he'll settle in.

I'll agree Brantley is ahead of where we all probably expected him to be but he has a long way to go. Case in point, 12 strikeouts in 12 games.

EE seems to rarely start season's well. His worst numbers are April over his entire career and by a decent bit with a large sample size

Sending down Yan isn't a realistic possibility at this point. Making him backup to Perez is as good as you're going to get. When Kipnis comes back, there is no longer a spot for Yandy, who needs to play every single day.
