I don't think that this is a major problem in the west.
This is why a lot of people get annoyed at the climate change stuff. What a stupid suggestion. And then you have assholes like Johnny Depp and Al Core who put 100x the carbon emissions I ever will from their planes and multiple houses trying to tell me how to save the environment.

Actions, across the board, are very telling. Despite the global "consensus", there has been a YUUUUGGGE amount of talk and little meaningful action, not just from windbags like Al Gore, but even in the EU among the govt. It's pretty clearly a political much more than scientific issue, which is why the most significant govt actions don't amount to anything more than handouts to cronyists in green industries and grants to "scientists" to prop-up the narrative.

It's gotten to the point where no company can afford not to be anti-carbon, and even Big Oil has realized it's good for the bottom line with a shift from coal to natural gas.

To be fair, college algebra is the same as algebra 2 in HS, not algebra 1. So it's the class many take as sophomores or juniors not in 8th grade.

Mother than that I agree 100%. If you can't pass college algebra or a statistics class (many majors allow stats instead of algebra), you shouldn't get a degree.

You read that article? Not one quote was verified to actually be a real person or provide links. Fake news if anything.

Someone wrote an article about what some anonymous message board posters are saying?!? That's some quality journalism right there.

I am not impressed until they blackmail them by threatening to reveal their identities.

The article mentioned two social media sites. 4chan and Gab and said they are both popular site of the alt-right. I would think if you are worried about verification you could visit both sites and check it out. I always thought people who post on Ohio Chatter are real people, but if you were to press me on it I couldn't verify it.

Shitposting. It's not just for gamergate anymore! It's meant to be distasteful and deplorable and nobody is safe from it.
Also, every progressive SJW type calls anybody/everybody who doesn't think like them an "alt right". A good example is that Linda Sarsour just recently called Jake Tapper (lol) alt right. Dave Rubin has been called alt right before. It has nothing to do with where you land on the political scale because, obviously, Tapper and Rubin aren't "right".

http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/shitlord

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=shitlord
A lord of shitposting. An internet troll who identifies as a person who posts allegedly nonsensical, meaningless, random, time-wasting and sometimes sexually explicit words, pictures and gifs/videos (i.e., "shitposts") on social media.

Often these posts are not "nonsensical," "meaningless" or "random," but rather are abusive, racist, misogynist, anti-LGBTQA and bigoted in other ways. The shitlord hides behind a mask of gleeful anarchy and random neutrality, when in fact he (and a shitlord, as the name implies, is usually -- though not always -- a "he") engages in the usual hate-spewing, bigotry, harassment and abuse of other kinds of trolls.

A lot of shitposts focus on the dodgier aspects of video-games and anime. There's a large overlap between self-described shitlords and Gamergaters.
Since they're looking for attention via "getting a rise" out of their mark, when encountering a shitlord, it's best to use the time-honored method of dealing with trolls: DNFTT.

These cuddle parties first appeared on the scene years ago. I'll agree with you thT they are a form of psychosis. That they are a reaction to someone gettin elected is coincidence. These people would be doing stuff like this if Jerry Garcia was president. Yes, he's dead, but you get the point. What I'm saying is that most things in life are not tied to our country's national politics.

The positive effects of the regulation rollbacks are extremely significant; the rollbacks thus far will have substantial positive ramifications. Most people do not realize that the rules and regulations being thrust upon businesses and employers have been having as much, if not more, of a negative effect on economic growth, employment, and wage stagnation, as has actual legislation. The power of these federal agencies (un-elected bureaucrats) MUST be reined in. Trump is well on his way to doing just that --- enormously beneficial to The People.

When labor participation increases a point, and wage rates start increasing....then you can say that.

Google just fired a guy for saying that maybe their company isn't more diverse because women don't want to be in tech (which is actually backed by some facts). I don't get why he would speak up against progressive beliefs in a loony leftist company, but Google is insane for firing the employ for having an opinion. I get it's a free market to fire who you want, but censoring opinions because it doesn't align with your politics is not a good look, especially when they contend that they are for "equality" and "acceptance". The hypocritical left strikes again.

Both of those stats will have a hard time increasing unless obamaKare is repealed. The massive cost escalation from obamaKare is eating up all available resources that could otherwise be used for real wage increases etc... Most wage increases over the last 8 years to employees have been in the form of their employer eating much higher premium costs on behalf of employees, with little left for actual wage hikes. Liberals live in a complete vacuum; they never consider the significant consequences of their radical policies.

If you read any of the tech blogs/sites, the political interjections have become nauseating (they sometimes even attempt articles on the economy, healthcare, etc....which is usually a comical read). The commentary sections are as bad as Breitbart (just less crude).

Well, which is it? Are we at full employment and Obamakare is eating up wage increases, or are we not at full employment in which case there has been little upward pressure on wages?

We are not at full employment. It is hard to get there when obamaKare inhibits investment, expansion, wage growth, and additional employment. If the jackasses in congress are not going to repeal it, then massive regulatory and tax reform are the main levers left to pull.

God, we could be sooooooooooooo much better off and further along if the federal government got the hell out of the way.
