Yeah, Obama was just far more polished and subtle. Otherwise, in terms of actions and cooperation/relationship with Congress, I see little difference between the two.

Trump is an embarrassment, but as far as leadership and action this past year has not been very different from the previous 8.

Sooo the Kate Steinle decision was pretty fucked up. Illegal immigrant deported multiple times shoots a woman and he gets off other than gun possession. Fuck California. The shooting should have never happened but San Fran didn’t turn the guy over to ICE. Can’t wait for the local douche bags to defend this

Even if they took his explanation - he didn't know that there was a gun in the shirt - the verdict should have been involuntary manslaughter. At least, that's my opinion.

But California has a different breed of people that lives there. Not everybody, but prevalent enough to make it seem like everybody.

Hearing right now that there was just too much circumstantial evidence, even though he had already acknowledged that the gun was in his hands.
But I still think the involuntary manslaughter should have been the verdict.

took CNN about 3 seconds to start running stories last night defending this as a verdict on Trump.

The verdict is a fucking disgrace. Also, what happened to California being all about their gun control laws and enforcing them? So, they are full of shit just like most gun control advocates.

I will save you time for people defending this. It will be to the tune of "well (insert white person) killed so and so, and he got off!!!!!"

And it may very well have been, if the DA didn't overcharge with Man 1.

Given the circumstantial evidence - and no motive or intent - he probably WAS not guilty of that charge.

Why can't the person who let the guy go without contacting ICE getting prosecuted? Is it not a federal law? The gov needs to make an example out of this case and sue everyone who broke any law with reporting the illegal.
