Well, he made chicken soup (somewhat) out of noodle arm Kessler. I know his system is more conventional but his talent level is dog shit.
Unfortunately, it's the way the league's going. Good coaches are going to have to figure out how to mold these spread QB's or they won't have jobs long. College coaches don't have the mindset "well, since the kid will eventually want to turn pro, I'd better run a conventional type/pro style offense so he will adapt to the league...don't really care if we win as long as he's NFL ready." No....college coaches are running offenses that are putting points on the board, which more often than not, is the spread.
