Shoes are grey, not red like PSU game.

I wish they could make it with a white helmet, go full Storm Trooper.

wildcats20;1881363 wrote:So is the B1G east wrapped up with a win vs Illinois?
No. An unlikely, but possible scenario would be PSU and MSU lose next weekend and Michigan beats Wisconsin. That means the East division would come down to Ohio State beating Michigan. If they lost to Michigan, Michigan would have 2 conference losses as well as OSU having two conference losses, so head to head matters in a two way tie.
ironman02;1881371 wrote:I guess I was operating under the assumption of a four way tie because that's what people have been talking about. I actually think Michigan might beat Wisconsin next weekend.

But yeah, an OSU win or Michigan loss next weekend seals it, as long as the Buckeyes don't somehow lose to Illinois. lol
Correct.
ironman02;1881372 wrote:So after thinking about this a little more, does a win against Illinois actually clinch it if Michigan wins next week? If they beat Wisconsin, and then PSU or MSU somehow blows a game, Ohio State would need to beat Michigan, right?
If both OSU and Michigan win next weekend, it's not exactly clinched for OSU yet. PSU and MSU's remaining games all matter. If they both drop one, then the winner of OSU-UM is division winner. So you are correct, OSU would need to beat Michigan, but only if PSU and/or MSU lose. If PSU and MSU win out, OSU beats Illinois but loses to Michigan; and Michigan wins against Wisconsin and OSU...OSU is still your division winner by 4-way tiebreaker rule. Meaning basically they have the best division record.
wildcats20;1881374 wrote:For OSU to clinch this coming weekend, they must win and Michigan must lose.

Your layout of the 4 way tie is correct. OSU gets in by its victory over Sparty.
Also correct.

There is still so many scenarios to be played out here, but OSU won't have anything clinched until the last Saturday of regular season play.

If OSU beats Illinois and Michigan loses to Wisconsin, the B1G East is won by OSU.

OSU will know what it needs to do around kick off, as the Michigan/Wisky game is at 12.

Sparty and PSU are basically out, unless OSU goes 0-2 the last 2. They can't win a tie break against OSU.

It's 38-0 at half and the starters on O didn't finish the half. Illinois has 43 yards of offense. Ohio State has 358.

After watching most of the UM/Wisky game last week, I'm feeling very confident.

UM's offense is atrocious.

Agreed except for the confidence part. I fully expect them to look like the ‘07 patriots on Saturday.

I would be more concerned if Peters was healthy. Given that he was knocked out (literally), I do not expect him to make it out of concussion protocol in time for this game. O'Korn should not scare anyone and we should load the box to stop the run.
