You don't understand PP, their revenue streams, or how Medicaid works.

I guess we should strip Medicaid of vaccination services because they cause Austism, amiright? If vacinnes are profitable, they can become a stand alone business. And Pharmacies shouldn't sell condoms because if condoms are so profitable then why can't we just open condom only shops? I also don't think grocery stores should be able to sell bananas because some people are allergic and bananas are profitable so they should have no problem opening up banana stands across the country.

The party of small government wants to use big government to influence people's individual healthcare choices right down to their provider. Enjoy!

You've made it abundantly clear that PP can't survive without Medicaid....but Medicaid isn't being used to subsidize abortion. Mmmkkkay.

There are abortion providers who don't take Medicaid, and there are comprehensive care clinics that don't perform abortions. Both those models can work, so maybe PP just needs better management to figure out how it's done.

It does not. Medicaid provides a place for women to make their own healthcare decisions about their own body. If they choose to have an abortion, they can pay for the cost of that with their own money.

Carry on with your Fox News misinformation campaign though!

3% of their services go to safe and legal abortion. Yeah definitely an abortion clinic.

Facts don't care about your feelings.

They can survive without Medicaid reimbursements. That isn't the issue; they would be not able to serve the low income women who need healthcare services the most because they would not be able to afford to give away pap smears for free.

Nice chart from the Heritage Foundation! Very unbiased, would read again.

Yes how horrible of me to advocate for our nation's most vulnerable populations?

I guess we should just let Republicans tell them to "Pull themselves up by the bootstraps just like our President did!

So Medicaid does fund PP and it's abortion services? Here you are, again, making the case that PP can't survive without Medicaid. Fungible.

PP can survive without Medicaid but it would not be able to serve the most vulnerable communities. This really isn't complicated but it doesn't agree with your Fox News generated hysteria to deny women access to care because they also provide safe and legal abortions.

Medicaid should also not cover Oral Contraceptions either since one of their mechanisms of action knowingly causes newly conceived human beings to fail to implant in the endometrium and die.

Why do we allow our tax dollars to support this slaughter???

How much does failing to accept the world as it is and trying to come up with possible ways to solve problems?

One of several mechanisms, not the only one nor the primary one. And not universal to all oral contraceptives.

And essentially the Hobby Lobby case.

I guess women who have been raped are responsible then. I guess victims of incest are irresponsible and should be punished accordingly.

Women who use protection in the form of a condom and IUD should be forced into childbirth and 18 years of responsibility.

An abortion is being personally responsible and understanding the consequences of your actions. It would be irresponsible to raise a child that you cannot provide for and if Republicans weren't so blinded by religion they would be 100% for abortion access and enhancing access to contraceptives.

Don't worry, Medicaid already covers their abortion.
