Probably. I was just saying.

Perhaps. Let's see what he does.

Nope. I was just referring to the complex international trade system.

Let's see what Trump does and then we can go from there.

Maybe you missed the memo: I wrote that I am finished with doing the homework of the lazy, and the liberal. Start ponying up on the education; if you can figure out the internet you should be able to come up with right numbers.

To be fair, there is nothing that he could say or show evidence of, that you'd be willing to agree with. You're predisposed.

To be fair that's a horrible cop out.

On thing Trump isn't...stupid. He knows how to win...and he took this challenge as a business challenge.

He stole this election. He drew up a brilliant campaign that made history. Support him or not, he defied the odds from the minute he entered "politics."

It's the same as saying anything, doing anything, pandering to anyone, etc...to get a job you want. I think much of the egotistical stances, outlandish ideas/statements and overzealous appearances he showed, was simply to give himself the best chance to WIN.

I didn't vote for him, but again, he's not stupid. If he doesn't unify the country and at least get some of his detractors to give him a fair shake, he's not going to accomplish anything and fade away in 4 years.

Why won't this happen? Unlike other presidents, who as part of their motive for wanting the job is personal fame and wealth, this isn't Trump. His "wealth" is going to come with being able to make history by rising from the underdog spot, winning the Presidency and then actually wanting to leave office with some credit. Someone with an ego like him, who isn't in it to get on TV or become wealthy, likely has this as his top priority. Guess what? He needs more than those who voted for him to accomplish this.

Yes. As a dem I am ready to accept that Trump through years of connecting with people...WWE, etc. just had his finger on the pulse....

Markets expecting a fiscal stimulus that will make the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act look small.

I am ready to give trump the benefit of the doubt.

Damn. This makes some on here look pretty bad, given how they reacted when Obama won, particularly in 2008.

Trump is an anomaly. If Ted Cruz were in Trump's shoes I think I'd be freaking a little cus he thinks he's an "Annointed King".

I feel like many on the right think of Obama like I think of Ted Cruz...whereas Obama has Charisma and Ted Cruz seems like the creepy guy at Bible Camp.

I always thought that was Rick Santorum.

I see your point, though.

lol you of all people should realize QQ's egregrious claim that "we'll just cut some funding for a few years" for a multi billion dollar wall is ridiculous. That's why he got called out on it and why he can't respond to it. But, here you are defending him b/c hes on "your side" lol. gtfo

You do realize that his plan to have Mexico pay is to cut the trade defecit right? Has nothing to do with Foreign aid. So if he reduces the 50+ billion deficit he can claim Mexico paid for it.

Will it work? Doubt it. But that's his plan

My comment was meant more "in general," than pertaining solely to you and QO's specific pissing match.

Automatically assuming he's on "my side" drives the point home pretty well.

On your side being you both were trump voters which was openly admitted, right?

i thought what he actually said was he was going to stop the transfer of money from working illegals back to Mexico to pay for it... neither, of course, is what QQ claimed and the reason I called him out.

You mean "stringing together a sentence of nothing but conservative buzz words" isn't a valid response?
