Obamacare is like giving someone a broken down clunker who doesn't even have gas money, and then patting yourself on the back for providing them with a car.

In most cases, if they didn't already qualify for Medicaid they could afford insurance but chose not to. And I think there were other ways to handle pre-existing conditions.

lol, that may be true!

However, I actually do believe that. I think that Sam Harris is much more intelligent, smarter and competent than Cuban. Not that Cuban is a dolt by any means. It's just that for me, Cuban is missing a certain sort of X-factor which I can't quite pinpoint.

I would agree with you. Sam Harris comes off as being more level headed.

Has Sam Harris actually voiced a desire to run?

I don't think he's ever stated it beyond perhaps a joking manner. However, if ever a non-political person could be President, he'd get my vote.

I don't know enough of his politics. I've heard him speak, and I read one of his books (where he really didn't sound so level-headed, but that's just one book), but none of it really got into politics THAT much.

The sad part is I'm seeing people say Trump demonstrates the outsider/rich guy isn't qualified. I don't think Trump is remotely representative.

I am wondering if Trump ever actually wanted the job - how does a multi-billionaire that close in the polls barely spend any of his own money on the campaign?

I wonder if secretly he wants to be impeached so he can blame the "deep state" for sabotaging him (because his ego won't let him quit).

Curious, which book? I'm actually reading one of the books that he co-wrote and I find it interesting. Will probably be done wit it tonight (it's not that long at all)

https://www.amazon.com/Islam-Future-Tolerance-Sam-Harris/dp/0674088700/ref=sr_1_8?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1494872931&sr=1-8&keywords=Sam+Harris

I actually got my first look at Harris while watching TYT. Cenk, being the southbound backside of a mule that he is, was clearly on the offensive immediately which made me curious as to why. So I looked further into Harris, saw him on the Rubin Report, got even more interested, and it went from there. He's everywhere now, really. From his podcast to Joe Rogan.
Every time I see/hear him, I'm more impressed.

GOP supports and condones this by their inaction.

Impeachment and removal from office needs to happen soon before he does more damage.

Let's definitely not wait for facts you guys!

But I'm already tired of this dumbass presidency. Has there been a whole week without Trump doing something stupid? The only good part is it has completely shown how terrible the media in this country is.

Also it's not treason as the President can declassify anything (not that he should)
And 2, sleeper, no one condones the actions. If he did divulge something he shouldn't have, it is not condoned by any reasonable conservative.

FWIW, everyone who was in the room has confirmed that the WaPo story is bullshit.

Looking forward to seeing their "sources" testifying before congress about this treasonous act. How soon can we expect that to happen?

Yeah, if you're a smart and more politically conscious billionaire, you HAVE to be annoyed at that notion.

An impeachment, as long as it doesn't result in anything worse than removal from office, would be the kind of press that I'd wager he thrives off of (and can profit from).

It was Letter to a Christian Nation. It's been around awhile. What content was there wasn't bad. The book, as a whole, though, was a lot of emotional appeal and ranting. I mean, the title sort of lends itself to that sort of anecdote, so I suppose I should have known better.

I've seen him speak elsewhere, though, and he definitely came across better. It wasn't on politics, though, so truthfully, I have no idea what his politics are. If I liked them, though, I would certainly vote for the guy.

This needs said. Seeing someone as the best option doesn't mean you support everything. I voted for Johnson despite not liking plenty of his track record, and I'd be more than okay calling him out on that sort of thing.

Even if everything reported by WAPO is true, it still isn't "treason". Your dumbass exaggeration like other morons in the media is how we got Trump in the first place.

gosh a ruddies, this is all in the meeting where Donald will not allow the American Press, only the Russians. Then later when the Russian pictures from the meeting become public, he claims they tricked him. Either an idiot or completely in the bag for the Russkies.

gosh a ruddies there is no exaggerating purposely aiding our enemies like the Donald did.
And the reason we got Trump is people in states like Ohio voted for Hillary Clinton. If you did not vote for Hillary, you are one of the causes of the Trump Presidency. Anyone who considers themselves a decent person and did not vote for Hillary, is a moron. Trump spent several months campaigning, amply demonstrating why a decent person should have voted for Hillary on November 8, 2016 as our only viable alternative.

Glad to see the Fox News patrol is out defending Trump de-classifying information to the Russians.

Why is the President having closed door meetings with the country and person he's under investigation for colluding with?

And yes the GOP is complicit. Look at the approval ratings; 80% of Republicans still stand by Trump. When's the last day we've gone without a scandal? GOP is complicit in their inaction.

Of course they are going to say it's bullshit. They have zero integrity and have zero credibility when it comes to telling the truth.

Good to see you supporting and defending Trump. You own it.

Yeah, McMaster's credibility is for shit, amirite?

Looking forward to to the WaPo "sources" clearing this up during sworn testimony. Again, how soon can we expect that to happen?

McMaster came out and denied something that the story didn't even mention. McMaster denied that the sources and methods were discussed which isn't even mentioned in the article that talks about specific plot lines. He even used the word "As reported" and danced around calling it outright false because he knows there is a transcript and isn't sure if WaPo has it or not(They claim they do).

This is a classic narrative control strategy. Way to be bought and sold so easily!

I'll ask again. How soon can we expect this story to be confirmed via sworn testimony? Easier still, how soon can we expect the story to be confirmed by subpoena of the meeting transcript? If the story is credible, we can assume that Adam Schiff will be in front of a camera somewhere today demanding it, no?

I'm inclined to wait for that to happen before breaking out the torches/pitchforks. If you want to continue foaming at the kock holster over an unsubstantiated story from the crew who breathlessly reported that Russia hacked our electrical grid...knock yourself out.
