At the end of the day, if the trend continues...he gets credit for it. No amount of assclench on your part will change that.

With the Trump administration's preliminary plans for a $1 trillion infrastructure plan on the table, firms are likely expanding their staffs to prepare for an uptick in project opportunities in the coming months and years. While architecture billings reported a down month in January, economists say the foundation for a strong market is in place
Markets are expecting large keynesian stimulus through tax cuts, defense and infrastructure. Hopefully the freedom caucus can swallow it otherwise...

When I looked at this, it made me think of the book The Grapes of Wrath (I fucking hate Steinbeck.).

The family started out poor and in the middle of a natural disaster (drought and windstorm, I believe). A whole bunch of shit happened between then and the end, but in the end, they were poor and in the middle of a natural disaster (a flood). No real improvement. Just a bunch of shit in the middle.

Gorsuch was the best appointee in a looong time. The fact that this is the hill the Dems decided to die on was stupid. Ooh garlands seat blah blah. Bunch of babies. And had the Dems won, they'd have invoked the nuclear option themselves.

There's no way Ginsburg is hanging on another 4 years. Trump could end-up replacing 3 liberal justices. Applications for Canadian citizenship will spike....

Trump doesn't need to lay out a red lines. Those are for leaders that play politics with lives.

That was my point. Lot of talk with the last administration. Just don't put boots on the ground.

I think we've been bombing ISIL targets (with drones), but this would be our first attack on the state of Syria.

We have.

Those who supported it then, but don't want to support it now, will find a distinction.

Those who didn't support it then, but want to support it now, will find a distinction.

But the outcome is the same. We're bombing Syria. People will die. Some will be intended targets. Many will not. Those people's families and loved ones will find a nearby group best equipped to fight against those doing the bombing and their allies. Said groups will, more than likely, be radical terrorist groups.

And the cycle will continue, as it has for decades.

Bombing like this is taking lives and driving fresh blood into terrorist organizations. It's the creation, or revival, of an enemy.

That about as close to playing politics with lives as it gets.
