So you quoted:SportsAndLady;1881616 wrote:I don't know, man. I don't think any of this looks good for Trump jr or some of these people.
1) Trump Jr. saying Wikileaks contacted him and has dirt on Clinton. So what? Reporters do that all the time. What makes this special or corrupt? Was he ever sent and in possession of actual, illegal information?
2) Asking for a comment on a story - that Trump Jr. had already commented on. How is that even worth being in the story? OK, maybe if Podesta commented - but where's the scandal in commenting on a PUBLIC story?
3) A tip about a PAC gearing up to smear them? Again, not sure where the news is in that bit.
So, to me, most of what I read in that article and everything you quoted is a giant non-starter. Now, if you want to say given Wikileaks history and that they broke the law, any communication and/or not rebuffing them is wrong. Probably not close to being illegal. Maybe the Trump team directed Wikileaks to serve as an intermediary....and that would be a crime, but nothing in that article comes anywhere near that.
