(re: DTJR) My reaction to these things whether it's against the left or right normally goes from "WOW that doesn't look good" to "nothing will come out of it" in the span of less than 24 hours. I've pretty much given up and realized all of these people are above the law. Not only the real law, but the court of public opinion too, since everyone will dig into their sides when this shit happens.

All the while the largest scandal in D.C. history continues to be overlooked. The obama justice department, the FBI, and the national media all complicit in looking the other way, and scuttling any investigation into the massive criminality of Clinton Inc. And then US intel actually using a dossier, invented and paid for by a national party - DNC-, full of complete falsehoods in order to secure fisa warrants and justify a special counsel, all in order to, now, cover their tracks as we find out since Trump did the unthinkable, and won the election.

This is government corruption and criminality at the highest level. And the more FBI docs that come out, the more it is proven. And to think that the state department continues to stonewall on Clinton emails --- simply bizarre. Rosenstien needs to be fired today, and a special counsel needs to be put in place immediately to go after this incredible corruption, and it should start with the Clinton Foundation and go from there, to the FBI, to the intelligence community, to establishment politicians and bureaucrats.

The left and the swamp are literally engaged in the precise strategy that is outlined in Rules for Radicals: accuse the other side of doing exactly what you are doing.

The level of criminality and corruption is mind boggling. Every one of these bastards need to be jailed.

Pretty much. I think the saddest thing is that the blind defenders actually think they're getting something out of the system for blindly defending their elite political groups, when the truth is they're just being used -- the whole "useful idiot" syndrome on full display. They'll support them to the ends of the earth; meanwhile the ones they're supporting will just continue to do their own thing that will benefit them and the particular special interests they're in bed with as long as humanly possible.

Getting more interesting by the minute. The FBI informant and the release of thousands of documents really pointing to massive corruption in the uranium deal and coverups at the obama DoJ and tens of millions into Clinton Inc. The true investigative journalism by John Solomon and Sara Carter is Pulitzer worthy. Hope they live to see it.

Yeah, it's not this party or that party, no matter what the QQs and Izzys of the world want people to think; it's the system. Politics is a profitable career for anyone at the national level for any time, regardless of the legality of that profitability.

If it’s anything like Chicago politics, there’s probably corruption everywhere in DC. Just the other day a client was telling me that the city of Chicago paid twice as much for a construction company to do a job for the city than the other companies would have done it for. Turned out Rahm Emanuel is a silent partner in that construction company. It’s crazy how corrupt a government and it’s minions can be.

The party structures are just the worst as well.
It is all about the party first, and if you toe the party line, you will be rewarded with committee positions, and be rewarded with funds to win the next election.
That puts moderates at a disadvantage as it really sucks to balk the party line as i may mean you lose funds in the reelection campaign.

The RNC/DNC and the actual internal pressure to stay in line suck ass.

I actually am refreshed by those that say screw the party and vote the opposite and voice their opposition.
As much as I disagree with him on some things, I actually like Rand Paul bucks his party a lot.
