Come on Mr. President.....
He claims that we need to call it Islamic terrorism, but cannot say white nationalist or alt-right?
What a weak ass statement and pathetic display of leadership.
Trump said that "
We condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence, on many sides."
So, he condemned the acts, called them bigots and racists, etc. He did not specifically name their group, is that your issue?
Ivanka said the actual words you are apparently looking for in "There should be no place in society for racism, white supremacy and neo-nazis,"
Neither downplayed this attack like last admin calling things "work place violence".
I can see your point a little, that he should have specifically called out the white-nationalists by name, but he was still rather specific calling "
this egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence" directly referring to the incidents in Charlottsville like the car running into the crowd.
For whatevever it's worth, the white-nationalists that were there (and white-nationalists in general) have just as despicable beliefs as ISIS or Al Qaeda in my opinion. I have just as much disgust for them as I do the Westboro Baptist idiots.
Although, at least the Westboro Baptist idiots haven't resorted to violence...yet.
I do find it funny that the left is rightfully outraged at this white-nationalist display of violence/terrorism, but when it is a Muslim they quickly try to blame the systemic racism against Muslim's in the US, and call it "work place violence".
Both sides are guilty of this, obviously, people should just be consistent and call them both evil groups, period.
