Trying to stay positive and look at the bright side....

No matter who gets elected, we are now 2/3 thru our national nightmare.

Several Republican insiders are saying their GOTV operations for today are "insufficient"
Trump invested almost nothing into the GOTV campaign. This is no surprise.

Does large turnout help Trump or Hillary?

I'd say it all depends on where the high turnout is coming from

Trump for sure

In the primaries, he set a record and overall pub turnout was 60% higher then Dems nationwide.

I'd take Trump over Cruz any day of the week. Hell, I'd take Hillary over Cruz.

My only hope is that the Libertarian Party gets to 5% and actually work on becoming a legitimate 3rd party. We have to put an end to this two party system.

Hope so too, but their strategy needs to be a bottom-up approach where they actually get people in office.

No doubt. It certainly did with the U of M head coach and AD that I said would be put into place.

Gloria Ferrar? Asti?

Virginia is pretty much a lock for Clinton.
My polling place, rural, was packed. Was very surprised by it, because usually there's only 1 or 2 people in there at a time when I go in.

Fucking lady never once asked me for an ID lol I even told her that's why chicago is so corrupt, you can show up to vote and not have an ID. She got all pissy with me but I don't care. Ask for ID it's not hard.
Requiring ID is supposedly racist. Not sure why. Poor people don't need to pay for cell phones anymore, so they could use that money to pay for an ID...

I've changed party affiliations before. About three times. What is so wrong with that?

Right now, the Libertarian party is pretty much uncorrupted for obvious reasons. Let's hope it grows and stays that way. (does anybody actually believe it will?)

I get confused........do we need to show ID or not? I went on a sunday a couple weeks ago. Just had to show your ID or tell them the last four of your SSN. I remember the first time I ever voted, I thought it was retarded that you didnt have to show an ID..and I was just a young, dumb 18 yr old.

I had to show ID. They even had someone at the end of the line check your expiration date before you were sent to check in to vote.

I believe it depends on the state. I posted NY's rule on that earlier.

Gotcha. It was teh first time I voted someplace other than my normal precinct on election day and the ladies there know me and have been doing I think since Lincoln was elected. They usually didnt check, but wasnt sure if it was because they knew me or what.
