I'm with you for the same reason.sleeper;1840256 wrote:I'd take Duncan over Dirk but its close. Duncan could have been a strong beneficiary of having a great all time coach like Popovich whereas Dirk has had complete dogshit coaches and teammates(barring a few years).

lol come the fuck on. Dirk is a notoriously bad defender, while Duncan is top 2 player of of the 2000s.Crimson streak;1840238 wrote:That's a tough one. Personally I would give the slight edge to dirk.

Duncan is an all time great. He's in a category above Dirk. And I love Dirk.

Dirk hasn't had the Spurs and Pop, but he has had some great coaches and teams and Mavs one of the better run franchises in his career timeframe.

On the ESPN Today podcast this past week, they talked about how Jim Buss and Mitch Kupchak had the work ethic of Jim Buss's father but without the NBA knowledge or history of winning. Thought that was pretty interesting, then to read this story lol. Also, on Jim Buss's "3 year Championship" window remark, he originally said 1 year, but the media around him talked him down. What an idiot, lmao.

Warriors lose again, Celtics dominate them in the 4th.
Curry talks shit on Brown after buzzer beater to end 3rd, doesn't score the rest of the game. Avery Bradley is some kinda on ball defender.

The Kings are up by 15 on San Antonio (who are without Leonard and Aldridge) at halftime. They end up losing by ten. What a fucking shitty franchise.

Spurs are only a game back in the loss column. Warriors have to go SA 2 times. This could get interesting.

Without Durant I really think SA takes the top seed. Poppvich might not "care," but the team clearly sees it is attainable now.superman;1840447 wrote:Spurs are only a game back in the loss column. Warriors have to go SA 2 times. This could get interesting.

Let me preface this by saying he is good at basketball so nobody jumps at me, but overall I think he is a manufactured star by the NBA and media. Smaller baby faced guy that the average joe can more relate to as opposed to the super humans in the NBA (I.e. Lebron). There was absolutely no reason for Curry to be the first unanimous MVP in NBA history. Complete joke.ironman02;1840450 wrote:Why do some people like this guy? I like Isaiah Thomas a little more today. When taking about why Steph pointed at Brown, he said, "I'm not sure why he pointed. They don't point when Avery's on them. I know that."

Well to be fair we have seen the cavs go thru this drama every season.superman;1840989 wrote:Looks like a team getting ready to implode.
With that being said the past two years has been nothing but kumbayah, so this is new territory for them going thru a slump.

The Cavs have Lebron and his ability to "go to the whip hand." Is there anyone on the Warriors that can do that?like_that;1840991 wrote:Well to be fair we have seen the cavs go thru this drama every season.
