I haven't heard that but if that's true it needs to be investigated by the league.

Call Dan Gilbert. He LOVES blocking trades with New Orleans franchises.

The Knight/Warren/Len package gives them solid players, but none you really build around. However, getting a Phoenix first rounder, assuming it's this year or even next year, is a better asset alone than anything in the Pelicans trade.

It was a joke.

I actually think that trade would have destroyed the Lakers.

Exactly. Why give up a top 3 pick for a non-top 3 pick? Phoenix is terrible this year.

Looking back on it that is.

When it was all happening it was like Christmas Day and then finding out your dog died lol.

Allegedly there isn't a lot of interest in giving Cousins a $200M contract next summer so the offers for him were poor.

We will probably never know the truth to what was on the table, because of course teams will come out after the fact and talk about it.

It's being rumored that the Kings wanted Ingram, Lou Williams, and future first round picks for Cousins in a trade with LA.

So damn glad that didn't happen.

So that's 2 rumors that would've been way better than what they got. Still baffled.

Well LA wouldn't do that trade, so that's not really 2 trades they had on the table..that was just what they wanted from LA.

The Phoenix thing is bad though..if they didn't accept that trade, they're stupid as shit.

Take Ingram out and I would've still done that Lakers deal.

It basically would have been a Lou Williams for Boogie trade. The next first round pick that the Lakers can trade is 2021.

Sounds like Sacramento's priority was getting rid of the shitty behavior.

Yup. Maybe Boogie is overvalued?

Agreed. Plus they apparently really, really like Buddy Hield.

Maybe, but their front office is a complete cluster.

Look at the drafts they have had since Cousins. Look at the moves they have made since Cousins. Look at what the owner just said about Buddy Hield and what Vlade said about an offer a few days ago. I mean, they are probably a top 5 worst run organization over the last 5-10 years in pro sports.

And now Vlade has come out and said he had a better deal 2 days ago.

Yeah Buddy will be about as good as another few good Kings picks...Jimmer Fredette and Nik Stauskas.

I saw a tweet where Divac was quoted as saying he had a better deal on the table a few days ago? Between him and that crazy owner, they are doomed. Or I guess will remain doomed

Don't understand the hate for Buddy. He's been in the league for five months?
