That was an awesome game. LeBron was a beast, Kyrie clutch. Durant best player for GSW, but Klay was hot...would've drawn it up for him.

I have to revive this since Kyrie hit winning shot.

4. What moves, if any, should the Warriors and Cavs make?
Engelmann: The Warriors, who currently sport the best point differential of all time, shouldn't make any moves. The Cavs -- if they don't want to get steamrolled by these Warriors in the Finals -- probably should. I'd trade Kyrie Irving for a PG that plays better defense. Irving's ability to create shots in high-pressure situations is great in close games, but the Warriors are too good, and Irving's defense too shaky, for the 2017 Finals games to be close.

And I have to revive this, because I stand corrected. I don't recall trade talks, but I do recall certain posters listing Teague and Lowry ahead of Kyrie. LOL. My bad sleeper.

I still wouldn't trade him for any player not named Lebron James.

Unreal game...Kyrie's dagger and LBJ and 1 were awesome. But a mam who in June, thought he'd be at home on a couch retired on Christmas 2016, put 2 guys on posters today. That 2nd one on Klay was unreal.

Shumpert and Jefferson 3/20
Shumpert 2/11 but his two were insane dunks

Count me as someone who has already come back to eat the crow on Kyrie. In my defense, I never listed Teague ahead of him, and a lot of the guys I did list were because of Kyrie's injuries...like_that;1829884 wrote:And I to revive this, because I stand corrected. But this team is not what it is without his shot-making ability.

lol, I wasn't really posting that to call anyone out, just wanted to play fair and give sleeper some credit when it is actually due. I have been high on Kyrie since day 1.Laley23;1829891 wrote:Count me as someone who has already come back to eat the crow on Kyrie. I too was on the trade kyrie train. I ate my crow. Now I can't imagine this team without him.

A reigning two time MVP benched on the last play of the game. So soft.

Ha, this picture is great. He knew the ending of this story. Also, he shouldn't have been able to be subbed out, right? They went to review after shot clock violation, shouldn't have been treated as a dead ball, correct?Commander of Awesome;1829933 wrote:A reigning two time MVP benched on the last play of the game. It's not like that little guy would have helped defensively. I know it was just one game, but is it just me or does KD going super iso screw the rhythm of everyone else?Commander of Awesome;1829933 wrote:A reigning two time MVP benched on the last play of the game. So soft.

Also, despite the Cavs not making shots, you have to gain some confidence in the following:
-Liggins playing some important minutes against a great team. I thought he did pretty solid defensively, and perhaps JR being hurt could be a blessing in disguise. I still obviously rather have JR starting, but Liggins getting minutes could go a long way.
-Kyrie starting to play like a real PG. For get Kyrie being Kyrie with ice cold veins. Don't look now, but 4 of his last 5 game Kyrie has had double digit assists. If this becomes a trend going forward in his career, Kyrie can make himself the best PG in the league. Another thing to keep in mind, Kyrie is only 25 and is on his way to his 4th ASG + has a ring. At 25, Curry made his first all star game and was bounced in the first round of the playoffs.
-Cavs ball movement was beautiful. GSW couldn't stop it, and many possessions they had to rely on the Cavs missing their shots. If the Cavs hit their shots yesterday, this is a double digit win.
Other than beating the bitch boy Warriors, the following points above made me happy about a regular season win.

Curry's 3pt FG% is also starting to come back to earth. He shooting 44% from 3 on his career, but 39.9% this season. If he continues on this trend, this will be his worst shooting % season. I won't shed a QQ for the lil guy.

Could this be a result of KD handling the ball and taking away Curry's time from handling the ball?Commander of Awesome;1829956 wrote:Curry's 3pt FG% is also starting to come back to earth. Lue went with a short 8 man playoff rotation yesterday. Liggins had 22m, Shump 29m. I would feel comfortable once JR returns that Liggins gets ~15-20m backing up the guards in the playoff.like_that;1829953 wrote:-Liggins playing some important minutes against a great team. Obviously just a regular season game, so not going to get too excited. However, that win felt really good. I just love when we beat that team. Such fucking punks (minus KD) and cocky assholes.
Also helps with overall record. Would love to have 4 games in Cleveland rather than 3 in the finals.

Kevin Love seems to play up for the Boston matchup ever since the Olynk incident.
Also, kyrie with another double digit assist performance.
