If healthy, I think we can see 10 minutes out of him. Rotations are shortened in the playoffs obviously, but this depth now gives lue options for matchups.Commander of Awesome;1839080 wrote:I doubt he sees any real minutes in the playoffs (if healthy).
How many minutes a game do you all think deron williams will average? My friend thinks the signing has been overhyped (making up an argument like sleeper pretty much) and says he will only get 5-7 mins a game. I bet him otherwise.

I've heard nothing but good things about the DWilll signing. I'm thinking 15-20 min a game.

This is a good analysis. He's the best screener in the league and is one of the best low post defenders. He's completely unreliable health wise though. I suspect him to play limited minutes on the Cavs.Laley23;1839059 wrote:In all honesty, he's the best screener (albeit illegal 75% of time) in the NBA. Fantastic passer out of post. Smart and very good defender. Limited offensively, but once he got out of Milwaukee, he hasn't been anything but last option on floor and his efficriveness has taken off.
Health is only downside. Hopefully it's not an issue the next 6 months.

I doubt he will play more than 10 minutes a game even in the playoffs.Sonofanump;1839078 wrote:Will he (Bogut) be seeing about 20 minutes a game? I have to imagine that Thompson will be at least 30.

Until JR comes back I'd think he would get 15-20 a game. Once JR is back, I doubt he plays more than 10 minutes a game, especially in the playoffs.like_that;1839133 wrote:If healthy, I think we can see 10 minutes out of him. Lue likes to shorten the bench in the playoffs. He will play Lebron/Kyrie/TT/JR 40+ minutes a game in the ECF and Finals. That leaves very little time for the bench to come into play.

I think what is great about these signings is it now allows a lot of playing around with the lineups. I can't find it right now, but someone posted the most productive lineupes, and it's been LBJ,RJ,Korver,Frye,DWill.
Pretty crazy our roster now compared to the hot garbage we had to begin the year with Dunleavy, Mo retiring, Birdman, and Mcrae (who sucked apparently like Sleeper said) and that turned into Korver, DWill x2, and Bogut.

DWill forcing shots a bit but liked him taking the charge and good pass over top of screen

Dwill/LBJ pick and roll is going to be dangerous once they get more minutes together. Cavs look sloppy as fuck other than that. Lebron with a lot of turnovers.

(Olynyk didn't do anything wrong. But I'd be pretty pissed if we lost Love via Olynyk two years ago and now lebron this year via Olynyk)

This game is obnoxious. The Cavs should be blowing these guys out. I am not impressed by Boston at all and especially Thomas' game. He just chucks shit and tries to draw bullshit fouls.

This game is a pretty good watch and as much as I'd like Cleveland to send Boston home for the season (and know they would)...I don't want them to meet in the playoff. Just don't.

Terrible terrible call against Boston. How the hell does he miss that? Players with bad angles knew he wasn't out. Crap like that makes NBA look awful.

Pretty sure they called the ball out. But Collins doesn't watch the refs after a whistle like you should. So he always misses their actual calls and then guesses/says good call or bad call.wildcats20;1839324 wrote:lol Horford wasn't even close to being out.
