He's made it clear he wants to join the cavs. Teams usually don't claim vets in the waiver process after being bought out as a respect to the player. It's kind of one of those unwritten rules. The only way Williams will be claimed is if he oks it

Joe Johnson was also pretty much a done deal for the cavs. I won't be happy until they have wet ink on that contract.

In his (korver) last 10 games:

37/59 from three, 62.7%. Just lol.

75% when wide open
60% when open
50% when tightly defended
67% when very tightly defended
I like that stat. Will read again.

Saw that yesterday. AL Harford scares no one, he's 0-12 vs Cavs in playoffs, IT will get his, and Butler /George would get 18-20. No way Cavs would be scared of that, let alone move Love based on what they do

I concur. They've driven me to actively want Lil Jon to be killed.

Bogut seeking release by Wednesday to join Cavs. Wednesday is important as that is the last day he can be bought out and be eligible for the playoffs on his new team

Just sign Sanders to a 10 day in case.

I am looking forward to this team at full strength. They are going from no depth to a pretty deep lineup if they get Bogut. Also, I hope they pummel the fucking Celtics tomorrow. A win against the Celtics gives the Cavs a massive lead in the East and comfort room to rest their guys. A win would essentially give the Cavs a 6 game lead over Boston (due to H2H).

Agreed. I'm hoping D-will plays tomorrow and just torches Boston

That'd be awesome, but I'm expecting more of the Korver situation with DWILL where he sucked his 1st couple games, but then after a few games really feels comfortable and effective.

Andrew Bogut has committed to sign with Cleveland Cavaliers, league sources tell @TheVertical.

There's our last roster spot.

So what are we getting in Bogut? He disrupted the paint in the Finals, remembered he looked pretty good passing. I honestly haven't paid much attention to his career.

In all honesty, he's the best screener (albeit illegal 75% of time) in the NBA. Fantastic passer out of post. Smart and very good defender. Limited offensively, but once he got out of Milwaukee, he hasn't been anything but last option on floor and his efficriveness has taken off.

Health is only downside. Hopefully it's not an issue the next 6 months.

Health and mobility. He hasn't been healthy since the finals, can't really run anymore, can't stretch the floor, or switch on defense. He is a fantastic passer, below avg rebounder (esp for size/position), solid rim protector. His upside is minimal, as is the risk.

Will he (Bogut) be seeing about 20 minutes a game? I have to imagine that Thompson will be at least 30.

I doubt he sees any real minutes in the playoffs (if healthy).
