"Hype train?" LOL....you'd think we were calling Sanders the next Michael Jordan. :D Dude is nothing more than a body, a minutes eater, to spell TT....but apparently what has gone from a suggestion to get him some minutes to spell Tristan has turned into a "hype train." Dude, you're too much.

I see my fan club is back at it again.

Yes, I was right about Sanders because I live in reality.

Who's left of the D-league contingent? Just Felder right?

Reality, it always wins.

He's not even just a body. He's a complete waste of space. Might as well sign Romo if you just want a body.

Can they still get the #1 seed? If they win tonight and Boston loses?

Also, what happens if they lose? Then they and Toronto are tied and would have split the season games.

Cavs still get the 2 seed. They are a division winner and Toronto is not(Boston won their division).

Cavs are 3-0 against the Raptors. They hold the tie breaker.

I assume both teams will be playing their bench squad.

Head to head is not the first tie breaker. The only reason head to head matters against Boston is because Cleveland and Boston are both division winners.

Of the 5-8 seeds, Indiana is probably the toughest first round match-up.

I would agree with this. However, if it goes more than 4 games in the 1st round, I'd be shocked. I expect a Cavs sweep in Rounds 1 and Round 2.

I would say the bucks are tougher than the Pacers, and the Bulls aren't that far behind the pacers in terms of a first round match up. This year's first round won't be a gimme sweep, but if the Cavs play to their actual roster (huge apparently), I would be pretty pissed if it goes beyond 5 games.

Actually, now that I think about it I vaguely remember this coming up last year or 2 seasons ago. Some team had the better H2H record, but they had to play on the road, because of the division tie breaker. Very dumb regardless.

I think it's a rule that pro league playoffs have to have stupid rules because simply having the "x" number of teams with the best record competing with the best going against the worst, the second-best against the second-worst and so on is apparently too logical.

NBA: Division winners get tie-breakers.
NHL: Division winners play wild cards, second and third in each division play each other (even if, like this year, the three of the top four in the league are in the same division AND the top wild card is only one point worse than the #2 division champ in one conference).
MLB: Wild cards play each other in the first round and the winner of that plays the best division champ. Even if both wild card teams have a better record than the other two division champs, as happened with the NL Central a couple years ago. Not to mention the moronic (and thankfully defunct) SeligRule that the All-Star game determined home field in the World Series.
NFL: Division champs get a home game, even if they're 8-8 and the WC team they're playing is 11-5.

Things would be so much more logical if top teams were simply top teams and division champs were nothing more than bragging rights. And only 50% of this is me being pissy over the NHL and MLB aspects of things, lol.

The seeding is 1-8 based on record. Division winners don't really matter.

Oh right, they changed it last year. Whoops.

The only one that remotely makes any sense is the NFL since they only play 16 games. Everything else is ridiculous, especially the MLB. I said it from day one when they implemented the 1 game wild card that it is bullshit they are going to punish the top teams in baseball.
