Stroman makes his first start since the Wild Card game. The playoffs are so stretched out...Stroman hasn't made a start vs a team other than Baltimore since Sept. 24th....almost 4 weeks ago.
He had two starts vs us this year and dominated. 14 innings, 2 ER and 15 Ks vs 2 walks. However, the Tribe was able to pull out both games in dramatic fashion. It feels like tonight will be another one of those games. You expect Stroman to be good, hopefully Bauer can match and we can get some type of lead to our bullpen.

Wow....the Indian pitchers won't throw the ball over the heart of the plate. What a concept...who'd a thunk it?

Depends who is behind the plate, might get lucky and the plate ump might be red assed at Joey WAR 1.0 and he gets a big strike zone.Ironman92;1816130 wrote:I would venture to guess the Jays will get more borderline calls at home...we'll see.

The Blue Jays have behaved like children when calls/pitches haven't gone their way. All the other umpires notice. It shouldn't matter because they are professionals but I think human instinct would be to err on the side of team not bitching at you consistently.Sonofanump;1816249 wrote:Depends who is behind the plate, might get lucky and the plate ump might be red assed at Joey WAR 1.0 and he gets a big strike zone.

Case was dismissed by the judge on chief wahoo, as it should. Also Merritt is getting the start tomorrow instead of clevinger.

There's asterisk with Merritt...it was said "if bullpen has to come in early tonight, it'll be Kluber tomorrow. If Bauer can eat up some innings, it'll be Merritt.Crimson streak;1816308 wrote:Case was dismissed by the judge on chief wahoo, as it should. Has anyone from the TBS crew predicted a Tribe win at any time during the playoffs? I feel like they are 0-20 combined.

Is that the same turban guy sitting behind home plate that goes to all the Raptors games too?

Now let's hope Bauer's got that good curve working tonight...i'm pretty confident we can get some runs off of Stroman

Really pretty unlucky to only get 1 there. Kip and Ramirez with great great swings. But, not complaining about a lead on the road in LCS!
