Out of the middle, came a lady. She whispered in my ear, something crazy...

Why do we continue to bunt? Even if they were good at it, it's statistically a terrible play.

Tribe could clinch this weekend. It would be nice to do it at home!

Tigers are tied in the second game of their DH with the Twinks.

Because the catcher is hitting under .200. I'd bunt Perez with one out and a runner on first, hope for a two out hit from Santana or Davis to score a run.

Red Sox aren't going to lose again.

Who would you guys prefer to face in the divisional series?

I would say Orioles but they don't look like they are going to make it. Starting pitching sucks.

We want the 1 and I want to play the Tigers. But everybody else is rooting against them.

If not...I want Texas right away. I'd like to avoid Boston in a 5 game series.

I still disagree. But whatever.

Play for 1 run in the 5th fucking in in the playoffs...we are going home real quick.

1 in 6 chance Perez gets a hit, 1 in 10 chance Perez draws a walk. I only do this with Perez and a runner on first. He is the only one I advocate bunting for sacrifice early in the game with.

Boston wins again, Texas did not play, and the Kittys are up in the 8th 4-2.
Things are tightening up in both race for top seed, as well as the wild card as Baltimore drops another.

Yeah, but how bad is he bunting?

And how often have we converted that into a run?

He is the only guy I am willing to consider for a bunt, but even so, not at that time of the game. I still like the chance to play for a big inning.

It's tight all around in the AL.

1 game separates Texas, Cleveland and Boston for the 1,2,3.

Texas is really smoke and mirrors. They don't pitch all that well. They don't hit all that well but somehow they just keep winning. Their run differential is 9...historically low for a team playing .588 baseball near the end of the season. Every other division lead is over 100 to the positive except for the Dodgers who are +87. This also have an incredible record in 1 run games.

Best case scenario is there is a big tie for the wild card and we get the 1 seed. 2nd best is Boston gets the 1 we get the 2 and play Texas. Worst case is getting Boston round 1. I want none of that right now
