Two different sentences. 3-4 plus 7-5 = Tigers going 12-0. 2-5 plus 5-7 = Tigers going 8-4.

I'm still not following. Let's put it simply...we both have 19 games left. If we limp to the finish and go 7-12...the Tigers would still need to go 13-6 to tie. We aren't going to go 7-12. If we just go 9-10, the Tigers would need to go 15-4. Not happening.

The bigger issue is the Rangers and Red Sox. The Rangers schedule is easy. They get Oakland twice, the Brewers, the Rays, the Angels after this Houston series. They are going to be tough to catch.

We need to hold off Boston for the 2 at worst.
