He has been the ump in about 1/3 of the inexcusable gaffes over the last 20 years. Must have a strong ass union.

Astros got hosed on that one. No shame because the bad calls go both ways.

Crimson- you're up again with the split. Let's keep this train a-rolling.

Joe West and Angel Hernandez have jobs. They are the strongest union.

Joe West is on crew with another of the very worst umps (name slips me but he's awful a lot)

Edit: Kerwin Danley

The NFL has their bad ones as well but at least try to get some of them out by getting them as replay analyst for the tv stations

you can't have a 'worst list' without mentioning C.B. Buckner--he's awful!

btw, found this article from 2014...

It seems to me the biggest mistake is that the call was not reviewable. The second mistake was the umpire calling time out while the ball was still in play. The dumb f*** Astros are lucky they sent JRam back to 2nd base, because it is their responsibility to play the ball until they hear the ump call foul ball. Sure, the umpire missed the call in hindsight, but that happens even with professionals. Procedurally, umpires can't call a foul tip, if they don't hear or see it....they can't assume it.

We are down 2 early. Tribe has bases loaded with 1 out in the 2nd and didn't score.

Mauer has a solo homer and the Twins have another unearned run. Kip error started the ordeal.
