What the hell just happened. Bases loaded, 2 outs, wild pitch (possibly foul tipped), ump doesn't call it a foul, catcher doesn't move, 3 runs cross home plate and everyone looks at each other. Then they send Ramirez back to 2nd, but allow two runs to score? How did someone call timeout on a live ball? This whole situation was absurd.

Astros have cut the lead to 10-7. Playing for their lives, they are battling. Bottom of the 7th. Miller came in to clean up Garner's mess to get out of the 7th. I suspect he'll be back out for the 8th.

And nd we can banter, but also be expected to be called out when you praise a guy for saving another guy, then defend him when said other guy has to save his ass. Miller is a beast, but so is Allen. You were being dramatic when he had a bad second inning versus Minnesota.

I can safely say that vball and I both love the Tribe but have vastly different approaches to rooting for them. Vball accepts nothing less than perfection and expects to win nightly. I tend look at the big picture and realize the best team to every play this game in the modern era still lost 46 times and it's impossible to "be hot" for 6 straight months.
In the meantime, Miller and Shaw combine for a tidy 8th and we still lead.
