I noticed that. NFL coaches, in general, are big bitches. No one with a brain punts there. You're two possessions down with 7:30 to play and in a manageable situation to get the yards.Ironman92;1814508 wrote:4th and 2 near midfield and Jets punt with 7:30 left?

Risk vs reward. Coaches are often terrible at understanding the clock situation.Heretic;1814520 wrote:I noticed that. NFL coaches, in general, are big bitches. No one with a brain punts there. You're two possessions down with 7:30 to play and in a manageable situation to get the yards.

Dallas just abused the Bengal defense. Capped by a Zeke 13 yard TD.

Cowboys have points on 4/5 opening drives this season. Would be 5/5 if not for Dan Bailey's miss last week.

It's amazing how Elliott looks exactly like he did at Ohio State.

Good to see Zimmer doing well, but I can still see a collapse. Didnt Atlanta start out real good, 5 or 6 and 0, recently and flounder?Ironman92;1814526 wrote:Vikings a top 5 team, good for Zimmer
Maybe the VIkes D will prevent that but I am still not 100% convinced

The Vikes were actually good last year. There's your difference.thavoice;1814666 wrote:Good to see Zimmer doing well, but I can still see a collapse. Didnt Atlanta start out real good, 5 or 6 and 0, recently and flounder?

True, but the Falcons did start 5-0 and 6-1 and then bam.....Ilike_that;1814691 wrote:The Vikes were actually good last year. There's your difference.
Took Zimmer forever to get a job. Saw something recently as to maybe why.....apparently when he went to interviews over the years most coaches BS their way and tell the owners/gm "how close" their team is and I guess he didnt play that game and instead gave a more honest approach and many GM/owners may not like that.

But the Falcons shown nothing previously to lead us to believe they would maintain that. That's the point.thavoice;1814696 wrote:True, but the Falcons did start 5-0 and 6-1 and then bam.....I

Zimmer definitely hurt the feelz of several butt hurt owners and presidents. That's exactly why the Browns didn't hire him. He went in and told Haslam and Banner why the browns fucking suck. They let their egos and feelz get in the way which led to Chud being hired.

I just scrolled thru all the MNF games scheduled. They suck nearly every week. Next week is a battle of tradition rivals. Jets @ CardsSportsAndLady;1815008 wrote:Has there been a good MNF game this year? Jesus they've been awful
The best one looks like Houston @ Denver or Ravens at Patriots
Bengals vs Giants should be watchable.
Most are not. Thursday and Sunday nights are better

ESPN paid a ton of money for NFL rights for the sole purpose of being able to show highlights in "real time". They didn't bargain for top choice of anything. This isn't a shock. As I've said before, they have the 4th choice every week for what game they want to show. NBC gets first choice, CBS And FOX alternate 2/3 and ESPN gets last choice.
