How do you tear both of your patellar tendons? Derek Newton has to be the unluckiest guy around.

I don't think they would do both at the same time. They will likely do one knee, get it strong, then do the other knee(meaning he will be out for quite a while).

No shit. Did he get rolled up or something? I remember an Eagle at the Vet on that shitty turf field tear both knees up on the same play running down the field. A corner from the browns tore both tendons as well. Extremely bad luck.

So this was the week everyone thought Romo would be back. He's out again and is still rehabbing. Don't be surprised come next week that he is shut down totally with a minor setback or some shit.

My opinion is Jerry will flip from his original comments and Dak will be the long term answer.

Jacksonville-Tennessee is the NFL's way of saying "Thursday Night Football is an utter failure, but Goodell refuses to ever admit he's wrong, so this is the shit that's available for it. Deal with it."

I watched zero plays. Checked the box score twice during the game but that's it. Wasn't even a World Series game to take my attention from it.

I've never watched a Thursday night game and never will.

The NFL sucks this year. I've only caught bits and pieces of the Browns games and my god they are terrible.

Watched the whole game.

Blake Bortles is the WORST QB in the NFL. Yes, Osweiler included. He did everything in complete garbage time. He has no mechanics, accuracy or IQ. I'm convinced they could contend today if they got a new QB.

Of course, when it was 36-8 with 5 minutes left, he padded his stats with 150+ yards and 2 TD's as the Titans let them just cruise down the field.

I'd take Bortles over the dumpster fire that was JFF.

With JFF out of the league, you may be right.

Neither did I. I had the TV on as background noise for a couple mediocre college football games where I had to strain just to remember who was playing because that seemed far more entertaining than that game.
