Nah, but maybe one day. I have a lot of friends there right now.

It's rather expensive and a major effort regarding getting your ticket, supplies, logistics, etc.

Yea, curious how much its costing each friend? Are they staying for the entire week? Interested in their opinion of the event, once they get back.

I just know it's usually very hard to get tickets.

The two girls I'm most close with got them due to having some kind of inside connection. They are going for the entire time, left on Monday. One of their dad's was an OG burner and knows the founders or something? Super hippy family.

She also has a friend out there that goes every year. He has a storage unit close by (Reno I think) and they keep all their shit there during the year. I think he has a popup camper too or something similar. The girls shipped what they couldn't fly with (camping supplies) to him and he's taking care of most of it.

I saw on a blog or youtube vid (something) where its easier for accredited artists to get tickets. I'd just want to go for the art, of course.

Wow, keeping a storage unit close-by is hardcore. That's some dedicated people.

Watching the live cam (kinda cool, a person is there now and answering messages) Looks like a sand/dust storm whenever the wind picks up? Now that would kinda suck.....

Some of the installations this year are just insane. Bigger and more extravagant then ever.
