I thought I answered. Didn't I answer?

I don't think they're the best academy team, no. I certainly did at the end of conference play. That hasn't changed.

I'm not upset they aren't better than Air FOrce or Army. I don't get upset at entertainment. That would just be silly.

What was exposed? They were definitely better than either of the other two teams at that point in the season. They definitely weren't going into the Army game....and certainly aren't afterwards.

The former Detroit Lions #1 pick finished 4th in the Heisman voting that year. Crouch had 770 votes and Harrington had 360 votes. I don't think I would call it getting snubbed.

I think this whole Harbaugh thing is a bunch of nothing but I also think the Rams probably wish they didn't extend Fisher's contract.

If harbaugh was legit interested and reached out I bet they wouldnt mind paying Fisher off for the last years of his deal. You hear Dickerson's comments last week about it? He was asking where the naked pics of the owner that Fisher must have to be getting an extension.

Not sure if I somehow missed it among all the talk of the service academies, but Charlie Strong is the new HC at USF.

...especially since the purpose of the trophy is to "recognize the outstanding college football player whose performance best exhibits the pursuit of excellence with integrity."

Although it's turned into the best player award, that's not what it was necessarily designed/intended for.

That's a step down from OC at Bama. He must really hate being with Saban.

I heard they did, but they just fired him, so that didn't give him much security, apparently.

He got fired because their roster is full of high draft picks (which Fisher had a hand in accumulating) and the team has also clearly quit. When your own players are saying there is no effort and a terrible game plan, you've lost the team. Combined with all the absolutely embarrassing PR moments with a clown like Fisher and it makes sense. The game passed him by 10 years ago. Same road Marvin Lewis is probably headed.

Rams starters...and why Fisher was fired. 16 of their 22 starters drafted in the top 2 rounds, 3 other starters were third rounders, which doesn't include one of the best young TE prospects Tyler Higbee. This team had a lot of talent and they were pure shit. And you can argue that many of them were busts, but a guy with the ego of Fisher is undoubtedly responsible for picking many of them.

QB Goff 1.01
WR Austin 1.08
WR Quick 2.01
WR Britt 1.30
RB Gurley 1.10
TE Kendricks 2.15
OT Robinson 1.02
OG Saffold 2.01
OT Havenstein 2.26
DT Donald 1.13
DE Quinn 1.14
DT Brockers 1.14
DT Easley 1.29
LB Barron 1.07
LB Ogletree 1.30
CB Joyner 2.09

I feel like he either wanted to get away from Saban, or Saban told him to hit the road. I think they really don't like working with each other. Doesn't really make sense to go to FAU otherwise, in my opinion.

I think Kiffin just really wanted to be a head coach, and FAU was the only school that would give it to him. Since he's such a douche, most bigger schools probably said "fuck that" when he applied.

Harbaugh is a certifiable nut job. Says that enemies are ones spreading rumors he's leaving for NFL, then actually spoke the words "We call them jive turkeys". Again...what is the draw to this guy if you're a top recruit?!?

That dude has completely lost his damn mind. The loss in Columbus sent his whacked out ass over the edge.
