Also, Salazar threw about 4 fastballs that inning, and the results were much better. Even if he is locating, he has to mix it up because he has no movement on his fastballs.

My shrink told me to try to be less superstitious. My wife made me go after I wore the same pair of shorts when I was home for an entire 14 game win streak.

Lol. I'm weirdly superstitious. I don't believe in jinxes of any sort, yet will wear the same hat (I have 3 Tribe hats) if they win the game before.

Our offense seems to have disappeared on this trip to the foreign country of California. Hopefully they can regroup and come out strong today at 3:35. Go Tribe!

I believe they switched significant others. Eckersly ended up spending time with Manning's former girl.

Good article on J Ram. Only 23...24 next month...seems like he would be older as he was originally called up in 2013. It's been fun to watch him breakout this season.

It certainly could have happened with other folks but I'm pretty certain it happened with Manning and Eck. My Father-In-Law worked in the front office in PR during that awful period of INdians baseball. He used to have some interesting stories. Don't know if Eck was trying to get some weird revenge or just felt what's good for the goose is good for the gander ...or maybe he wss just drunk all the time during that period. I also don't know if Eckersly and Manning's ex had a simple one nighter or if it lasted a little long but they were definitely together for a period after Manning stole the former Mrs. Eckersly.

Our 22 year old shortstop getting the day off.

J Ram had a two out double in the first taking his place. Nap got plunked after but Chiz left them both on.

Bauer worked a 1-2-3 first inning and we are off and running Oakland.

You can't stake a team to a 5 run lead, especially on the road --other than Kluber, our starters have been consistently inconsistent.

The game isn't over if we could hold them there and chip away. But Tito will get greedy and try to steal an extra inning from Bauer and he'll run into more trouble. That is if we can manage the 'chipping away' part.
