Good analysis. I think many of us were a bit delusional (or just hopeful) that Brantley would be back. Laley was all over it from the start.HitsRus;1807632 wrote:Trade deadline deal to pick up Guyer was underrated by most/all of us. In short, the deal allowed Tito to move JRam to third base on a permanent basis, and filled the void in the OF with a good right handed platoon player. They were able to jettison the non productive Juan Uribe, upgrading performance offensively and defensively at third base and the outfield. The deal becomes even more important with the news of Brantley's shut down for the season.
...too bad the brass couldn't get Lucroy to come here....this team might have really taken off.
Double points for using the word 'jettison'.

Yes! Lol. On both points. Knew it was a longshot for Brantley to help and liked the Guyer splits versus lefties.TBone14;1807646 wrote:Good analysis. I think many of us were a bit delusional (or just hopeful) that Brantley would be back. Laley was all over it from the start.

Was at last night's game, Highlight.............Ramirez ' s efforts at 3rd!
Lol. The kid that got Moreau ' s HR ball caved to crowd pressure and tossed it back onto the field. Then, he got tossed.

So, people that know downtown better than me...
If I am coming from Cleveland Browns stadium, around 6pm and have to leave heading south of the city for my hotel (in Independance), what is the ideal spot I should be looking to park.
My current location at Browns stadium is for work only and not valid past 6pm.
Thanks!

We always park in a cheap lot off Bolivar. From Browns stadium, you'd go down 9th and turn left on Bolivar. Post-game, turn right onto Prospect from Bolivar (they basically merge). Turn right on E 14th, which has a ramp to 77S.

Indians up 4-2. Chisenhall 2 run homer, then Chicago with a 2 run homer next half, then Santana homer and Chisenhall single rbi in the next half.
Top of 4.

I haven't been watching. How is Cookie? His line is confusing. He has been efficient pitch-wise. 77 thru 5. 8 ks. No walks. But 5 runs...4 earned. What gives?

Huge knock for Guyer in the 5th! 2 run 2 out single. Great at bat. 3 for 3 today. 12-24 since joining the Tribe.

Shit 9th inning. Allen had been playing well until tonight. Still unexcuseable to give up a grand slam with an 0-2 count
