Tribe has reached a deal with the Brewers for Lucroy. Lucroy must approve a trade to the Indians to make it official(physicals must be passed as well).
Tribe:
Matthew Lucroy
Brewers
Francisco Mejia (C, Indians #6 ranked prospect according to mlb.com)
Yu-Cheng Chang (SS, #12)
Greg Allen (OF, #22)
Some reports have another player going to Milwaukee along with those three.

Looking like Mejia and Sheffield to Brewers as 2 of the players. Would be a decent haul for the Brew Crew. Hopefully this eliminates what has been a rotating black hole all year. Welcome Lucroy!!!

Pretty solid deal for both teams if that is the case. Cleveland is on Lucroy's "no trade list". I'm not sure why he would reject a deal to play for Tito, and the team is poised for a good run for several years.

Damnit Tribe fans, wake up! I had a 6am flight, so I've been excited about his trade for like 4 hours now. My tribe friends and I have done all the texting we can do. Need to hash it out with you all! Lol.

Big piece guys. Just drew a little more attention to yourselves. Hope you go for a relief pitcher now

Giving up Sheffield and Frazier for Miller? Is that the trade?

Going for it! Congrats guys. Legitimate WS contender now.
Other smaller pieces you could maybe use?

if they want to get rid of their other top prospects, take Bruce. I'd rather see him in Cleveland than in NY with the Mets.Ironman92;1805130 wrote:Going for it! Congrats guys. Legitimate WS contender now.

But do you need him? Is his value to this team going to improve what you have enough to warrant top prospect? Reds will take 2 tier below players.sportswizuhrd;1805132 wrote:if they want to get rid of their other top prospects, take Bruce. I'd rather see him in Cleveland than in NY with the Mets.

This is insane. The Lucroy trade was a no brainer, still trying to come to terms with the Miller trade but gotta win in the next 2/3 years so I'm good with it. Hopefully Frazier doesn't turn into the next Mike Trout

As a non-Tribe fan, they made 2 moves that you gotta make. Small/mid-market teams have very short windows where they can compete with the big boys in talent, and the Indians are there now. They are going all in to win a title by 2018, if not, it's likely another 3-5 years. Kind of like the Reds did, but the Tribe are doing it better. The Reds never made a massive move, or moves, like this, and thus, never separated themselves despite being in position for 4-5 years.

If you win one it'll be worth it. Look at all of Trout's championshipsiclfan2;1805134 wrote:This is insane. It's definitely quite the price tag for a relief pitcher, but this is the first time in my memory that the tribe is going for it, so I can't complain too much. Still all in 216.

Also the Yankees are going to be really fucking good in the future. They received quite a haul for just two relief pitchers. Especially one who says he wants to go back to New York.

Also...by Frazier's current age Trout already had 2 MVP runner ups, 60 HR, 80 SB, 200 runs, 400 hits, 70 doubles and 15 triplesiclfan2;1805134 wrote:This is insane. Totally agree. And I don't see him being Trout, but I saw someone on Twitter called him that (per some scout)Ironman92;1805137 wrote:If you win one it'll be worth it. Look at all of Trout's championships
