Go Tribe.

(a 33 - 30 record the rest of the way gets us to 90 wins. Do you think that would be enough in this division?)

I'd say probably. None of the other teams have shown the consistency to be better than that, but there is the off chance that someone could get red hot down the stretch.

Tribe needs to take advantage of these "light" series coming up on their schedule.

I'm most worried about those pussycats up north--if they're pitching comes together, they could be a bitch down the stretch

^^^^If they'd had played .500 against the Tribe we'd be in a deadlock with them. Fortunately, we've owned them this year...so far.

I guess this is what concerns me the most--the odds are with them

It should be a fun couple of months. This team is scrappy and they always seem to grind. My biggest concern is with ownership,Dolan just seems to be content with contending and doesn't want to take that step to really go for the gold.

For now, relax. If we go 2-5 in these next 7, ill
be worried.
Giants: 2-10 since All-Star break (worst record in @MLB over span); entered break w/best record (57-33).

Checking in. Go Tribe.

Unfortunately, schedules didn't allow for me to make it to the game tomorrow. Joey and Jimmy going into the Tribe HOF. Thome set to give a speech. Should be pretty cool. I was there 2 years ago when Omar went in and it was a pretty neat ceremony and cool to see.

Didn't realize the A's have been hot since the break. Graveman has been great since a rough start and Bauer hasn't been right since his amazing bullpen appearance.

Could be tough one to open it up tonight.

Vida Blue just tweeted that Bauer has it covered tonight. I'm with Vida.

Go Tribe!

Both pitchers look sharp so far. 0-0 in the 3rd with Oakland batting. Nice sliding catch by Naquin as I type this.

Freaking errors killing this team after the break. 1-0 A's on an unearned run

Bauer has been strong. Graveman has been good so far.

I'm not sure I have a solution but Naquin in the 8 hole with Gimenez batting 9th sucks. Rajai on 2nd with 2 outs and they totally pitched around Naquin to get to our glorified "pitcher" spot.

Weak groundout. Inning over.

Reddick hit a rocket. Davis looked like a pop up. Both gone. 3-0.

Just like that.

Dang.....OUR catcher grounding out to the shortstop seems like an every at bat occurrence.

Santana cuts it to 3-1 with a solo blast. Kip hits one hard.

Maybe Graveman losing it here.
