Was it voted on BEFORE the tournament?

It shouldn't matter when it was voted on Buddy Hield has been the best player in college basketball in the regular season and postseason.

Totally agree but if it was voted on before, then the loss to MTSU wouldn't matter and neither would the FF run by Oklahoma.

While I admire Jim Boeheim in the same way that I admire mosquitos, I consider the possibility of an old Big East final rather awesome. Syracuse and Villanova are basketball schools by every sense of the definition.

Eh in the regular season it was a toss up honestly. Hield going off in the tournament certainly changes things now though, but how often have we seen this in bowl games where the Heisman winner totally blows it

I think Denzel was better this year. Hield was a better scorer, Denzel was a better player.

Yeah, I think I disagree with Denzel winning, but I dont think its a joke. Definitely up for debate.

I need Oklahoma to win. UNC Syracuse game doesn't really matter. But need Oklahoma to win it all.

Absent of Hield going berserk from beyond the arc, Oklahoma has no chance. Nova steadily beats opponents with their balance, and for a team like Oklahoma, which relies on the three as its first, second and third options offensively, that kind of attack is tough to beat if the jump shots are not finding the net.

Nova looks destined to win this whole thing, or maybe the situation I am facing just seems so hopeless that I am desperate to believe anything.

The offensive rebounds are astounding Nova is giving up. Calls going for Ok some this half but still not really pulling much closer.

I feel like UNC or Cuse would dominate the boards enough they'd be tough for Nova. Nova not looking great against pressure either.

That 3 might have been the nail in the coffin.

They played about this perfectly back in 1985 upsetting the powerhouse Hoyas in the championship
