After MSU and Purdue shit the bed, Maryland, IU and Wisky are looking pretty good.reclegend22;1788229 wrote:I'll say this, though, Wisconsin is playing as good of basketball has it has since last March. They could emerge from that bracket.

Absolutely brutal loss for Xavier. Couldn't believe they called a timeout with 2 seconds left, then they hit the shot. Unbelievable.

Best time for Mich St with their hideous loss....the amount of terrible chokes and incredible happenings since then really take the luster off of that historic upset

UNI has to be devastated. Just can't even fathom how they blew a 12 point lead with 44 seconds to go.

Indiana-Wisconsin would be an outstanding game.

My main bracket is completely closed out on the left side and everything perfectly remaining on the right.

Well, I don't have many paths to victory....but Oregon over UNC with Virginia and Maryland rounding out the Final 4 isn't a terribly long shot.
A&M saved my ass after Xavier cooked it.

Consider for a moment what Greg Gard has done with a team that was 7-5 in 12 games this year under Bo Ryan, who led the team to a national runner up finish a season ago. Nothing less than amazing. Stupefying, really.

Virginia always seems to exit prematurely, but their path is about as "easy" as it gets. Won't surprise me if Cuse or Gonzaga come out of that region, though.

If Oregon holds on the bracket I filled for my dad will have 12/16 and all elite 8 teams alive. Have Kansas/Miami, Duke/Ok, UNC/ND, UVA/Cuse.....Kansas, Duke, UNC, UVA and Kansas over UNC in championshipgut;1788247 wrote:Well, I don't have many paths to victory....but Oregon over UNC with Virginia and Maryland rounding out the Final 4 isn't a terribly long shot.

Is that shot from Koenig not up there with all-time great buzzer beaters? That's actually more impressive to me than the half-court NIU beat Texas with.

It was greatly impressive. Bryce Drew's was better as was Laettner's due to stage.gut;1788252 wrote:Is that shot from Koenig not up there with all-time great buzzer beaters? That's actually more impressive to me than the half-court NIU beat Texas with.
One was 50 ft and one was 23 ft...the 23 was more contested but not sure I can say it was more difficult

There's no chance that I'm going to bed before this is over. Oregon better whip this team's ass.Ironman92;1788254 wrote:I 02 likely has his St Joe voodoo dolls out sticking pins in everywhere

Yeah, gotta go with Laettner on that. But I'm going with fading and falling to your right with a hand in the face over a good look from 50 foot.Ironman92;1788253 wrote:It was greatly impressive. Bryce Drew's was better as was Laettner's due to stage.

I know crazy shit happens in the first two rounds every year, but this year feels much different. So much crazy shit each day that has me just trying to figure out what just happened

And yet with all the crazy shit the left side of the bracket could end up 1-2-3-4 and 1-2-3-5
