Sparty got out-played the whole game. Valentine showed why he is good, not at all an elite talent. He got bothered by a Conference USA 1-3-1 zone. He had a decent game, but 6 turnovers, 2 of them in key moments in the second half that led to MTSU growing their lead.

Again Classy...where was the "rest of the talent" for MSU? Davis and Costello, the only other 2 potential pros...Forbes, a great shooter, and Denzel? Harris his a few shots, but again, MSU simply didn't have enough. For much of the game, MTSU was the more athletic and talented team.
lol dude shut the fuck up. This was the #5 team in the nation and they got upset

Iowa should lose its accreditation as a university if this is the caliber of student it is producing.

You know the argument is over and won when you get the "dude shut up" in response to game analysis.

State looked like the mid January team where they played zero defense here.

MTSU is not more talented and loses 9 out of 10 times. Using your logic here in 2013 when Kentucky lost to Robert Morris that clearly shows how Coach Cal is either a bad coach or Kentucky had no talent because they couldn't even beat Robert Morris in the NIT

Well, A) they lost their best player (Noel) to a devastating injury and weren't the same team and B) it was the NIT. I mean, you had to wonder how many truly gave it all? No excuses. The loss happened. But it isn't nearly the same. Calipari, while he's not the best coach, he's also never lost in the first round.

...and I NEVER said MSU wasn't a good team or that Izzo wasn't a good coach. I said they lacked talent. I'm not sure how anyone can dispute this, but somehow, you managed to do so for over a month.

How in the holy fuck do you foul on a three point shot at the buzzer?

After a mistake of that magnitude, Iowa has no business playing any longer in this tournament.

Come on, Temple. I want this kid from Iowa to pay for this.

Actually worked good for Iowa. Instead of giving Temple the last shot, they got a foul against a terrible FT shooter.

Justice in the basketball universe was not served. Those sons of bitches from Iowa lucked out after an air ball. They deserved to lose and that kid that fouled deserved to pay for letting down his team. Plus, I really wanted a Philly championship bout.

Norfolk State had no business staying within 25 points of Missouri, let alone winning the game, with one caveat: Frank Haith.

They looked like a team that was picked on a city playground.

Aside from the star power of Buddy Hield, Oklahoma just isn't a very good team. If they survive Bakersfield today, the Sooners will advance only as far as their diluted bracket takes them.

Nah the refs are there to recuse them with a garbage foul call.

Disagree with you there Rec. They're a good team with seniors. Have them in the FF, and that hasn't changed with today.

Saw that they have 4 starters who've all played and started 101 games.

Don't say that! They clearly aren't very good because recruiting services and draft boards
