There are many pizza places in Ytown as well as types of pizza for different tastes.

The ELmton in Struthers is good (lots of cheese)
The MVR (many specialty pizza's) but one not on the menu that I like is "Papa Joe's Pizza that has cheese, red peppers, Italian greens & potatoes.
Belleria-- they make a pizza called "Brier Hill" and it's more about an area of Youngstown that was mostly Italians & the enjoyed that style. Thin crust, belle peppers, Romano cheese instead of mozzarella and a thicker sauce.

Others to enjoy are Wedgewood, Cocca's, Westgate.

One I would stay away from is Cornersburg Pizza....place was pretty dirty the last time I wend there & won't go back to.

Wedgewood was always my favorite as a kid.

And 4Cards is right, Belleria is always fantastic.

To add to the list: Inner Circle always seemed popular, too. I usually had wings when I went there. But if I remember correctly, the pizza was pretty good, too.

The Elmton in Struthers has a good pizza (and great green pepper rings)

Inner Circle in Canfield is good also.

This thread reminded me of a joke….

Q: What do you call it when an Italian has a broken arm?

A: A speech impediment.

If you're going to get Brier Hill pizza, get it from Sunrise Inn.
