Did ya see where Super Thugger stormed off the set at the post game interviews? i hope his lying ass "preacher daddy" lost a couple hundred Gs last night. I guess Sweet Baby Jesus didn't come through for the Newtons this time around.

You can be sure Super Thugger ain't feelin' it today. He's on pg 2 today along with Manzier and LeBum. Three turds in a bowl slowly circling the drain to "Who Were They?" status in a few years. Well maybe not LeBum...little thuggers will buy his Nike shit for years to come, but he'll only have 2 rings.

This thread makes me laugh and cry. Laugh at how stupid Tiernan is. And cry that he was watching the super bowl alone and posting on Ohio Chatter.

Guess that's what happens when you destroy your relationship with everyone around you. No one wants to hang out with you.

You're cryin because you're the eponymous of the young punks today who gave no clue what it's like to fight with a band of brothers on a "team". For starters you're a soccer *** so that disqualifies from any sports expertise whatsoever.

What about the rest of us "old timers" who, as you say, "fought with a band of brothers on a team", yet don't feel the need to start drunken rant threads about "what's wrong with sports" today? This whole thread is actually pretty sad.

BTW...I thought Lady Gaga sucked too. Which I guess is contrary to what the rest of the pop lemmings in Ameruca thought.

Old man knows more about football (actually pretty much everything) than 99% of the broken condoms on this site.

One more thing...was it smart for Cammy to show up at the presser wearing a hoodie? I mean after the Trayvon Martin episode a black man wearing a hoodie is how you get yo black ass shot bro.

What pisses me off about this whole shit storm of "Cam supporters vs. Cam Haters" is the race bit. I'm sorry, but for a majority of the people, it's not because the color of Cam's skin. It's because he is perceived as a punk. Put Johnny Manziel in Cam's shoes, doing the exact same thing, and people would be all over him as well. It has to do with the fact that Cam is a punk (some can use the term thug... I know white thugs), not because he is black. Sometimes those can be synonymous, but that doesn't make one racist for disliking a punk.

Well, since there aren't that many posters on this site, and I can think of at least 10 people that know more about football, your "99%", as usual, is a swing and a miss.

Make no mistake about it ETB...I'm an equal opportunity Hater. guys like Cammy & Manzier make it too easy to hate them because they do and say stupid shit, and lots of it. I seemed to have garnered some type of "racist" label because I tend to point out the limitations of famous black athletes. Well many more of them percentage wise tend to do more stupid shit than their white teammates do...sooo they get called out. I'll admit I throw some stereotypical shit in just to ruffle Heretic's undies but basically its a dumbass thing, not a black or white thing.

That the problem with our politard society. Everyone wants to take any action by anyone and spin it into their political briefs as either "this guy gets it" or "this guy sucks".

I really liked Dan Wetzel's column about Newton today simply because he made that point.

http://sports.yahoo.com/news/cam-newton-s-defense-of-his-pouting-shows-fallacy-of-cultural-debate-185819846.html
Cam has become a piñata in the middle of a culture war debate that is usually long on ridiculousness and short on realness. The Fox News/MSNBC-ization of the country is about black and white. Life is lived in the gray.
Many tried to make Newton fit into whatever worldview they wanted, but if you actually listened to his full news conferences, rather than pluck a quote, you'd find that what he said was often meandering, uncertain, contradictory and, quite frankly, honest for the majority of Americans who don't obsess over politics.

Cam is only a "punk" if he's not on your team. Lebron has pulled similar shit and Cavs fans say he's a "competitor."

I have no issue with Newton saying he's a "sore loser" today. I want that kind of fire on a team I root for. The biggest collateral damage from his actions is that he's sending a bad message to young kids who idolize him.

Newton will not be a consistent SB competitor...bank on it. He's a Randall Cunningham...lotta flash minimal boom.

As long as Carolina has that defense intact, they will be a SB contender. Also keep in mind what was even more amazing about Newton's season is that he did it with a scrub receiving crew (minus Olsen). His top target (Benjamin) should be back next season.

I'm skeptical this team will be hungry enough. Lotta individuals on this team that won't rally for each other when the going gets tough. Newtons not a leader he's a ring leader...huge difference.

I remember before the season, the "experts" thought Carolina wouldn't do shit this year because the offense outside of Newton was so pitiful. Baltimore was also a popular playoff (and superbowl) pick. Goes to show sometimes it's anyone's guess.

No doubt teams fall off and have a hangover year. If Carolina can get another legit RB and a WR to go with what Newton already has, they should be in the mix, barring injuries.
